Title: Protected Life

Contents

A protected life Psalm 121:3-8

Today, there is no place without danger. In this situation, parents desperately want to protect their children. But I always feel that I am unable to fully protect my children who are in a difficult and distressing position. because of lack of ability. I just look at it with a sad heart.

Therefore, we need the protection of the Almighty God. Because God's protection is absolute for us. Chosen as God's children, we are blessed to live under God's protection.

Then, let's take a look at what are the characteristics of God's protection, and what kind of person can lead a protected life.

1. What are the characteristics of God's protection?

1) God protects us like the pupil of the eye.

God's protection for us is threefold.

That is, God's protection is continuous, immediate, and perfect.

Protecting like the pupil of the eye means that you value us.

Therefore, under God's protection, we are absolutely safe.

*Deuteronomy 32:10 The LORD said to him in the wilderness, in the wilderness

He found him, he guarded him, he protected him, he kept him as the pupil of his eye.

*Psalm 17:8 You keep me as the pupil of the eye; you hide me under the shadow of your wings.

2) God's protection is reliable. Because it is true.

Joshua 1:5 No one will be able to withstand you all the days of your life; I will be with you as I was with Moses; I will not leave you nor forsake you.

*Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will take refuge; his truth is a shield and a shield for his hand

3) God's protection is constant. He is continuous and protects to the end (1 Peter 1:5).

“[3] The LORD will not cause you to stumble, and the one who keeps you will not sleep. [4] The one who keeps Israel will neither sleep nor sleep. [6] The sun by day will not harm you, nor the moon by night. [7] The LORD will keep you from all trouble, and he will guard your soul. I will keep you until

Isa 46:3,4 Hear me, O house of Jacob, all that are left in the house of Israel; you who were born in the womb to me, and carried on me from the womb [4] until you are old; I will bear you until I have built you, and you will carry it; you will embrace and rescue me.

4) Human beings need God's protection.

*Psalm 124:1-5 Israel now says, "If the Lord was not on our side, and the Lord was not on our side when men rose up against us, then their wrath was raging against the wolves, and they would remain alive. Then it will be said, Then the waters will overtake us, and the streams will engulf our souls;

*Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman watches in vain.

5) God's protection is sure. So I am satisfied.

*2 Corinthians 12:9,10 He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness... For when I am weak, then I am strong.

*Psalm 23:4 Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff comfort me.

2. Who does God protect?

1) He is a faithful person who does not change in his relationship with God.

Psalm 31:23 Love the LORD, all you saints, for the LORD protects the faithful, and he recompenses those who walk proudly.

2) A person of sincerity and deeds of faith.

Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loves justice, and he does not forsake his saints;

3) Those who love the word of God and keep the word of patience.

*Psalm 145:20 The LORD will protect all who love him, and he will destroy all the wicked.

*1 John 5:3 This is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not heavy.

*Rev 3:10 Because you have kept my word of patience, I will also keep you from the hour of temptation, which is to come when you come into all the world to test those who dwell on the earth.

3. What are the consequences of God's protection?

1) The enemy will retreat and the disaster will pass.

Psalm 56:9 My enemies will go away on the day I call, and I know that God helps me.

Psalm 57:1 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me; my soul takes refuge in you, under the shadow of your wings I will take refuge until this plague is over.

2) You will be able to overcome temptation and avoid tribulation (Rev 3:10).

*1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

*Psalm 32:7 You are my refuge; you will protect me from trouble; you will surround me with songs of salvation.

3) There will be no obstacles (blockages or obstacles).

*Jude 1:24,25 To him who is able to protect you from stumbling blocks and to cause you to stand blameless and rejoicing before his glory, the one and only God our Savior, glory and majesty and power and authority through our Lord Jesus Christ. From eternity to now and forever. Amen.
