Title: Proverbs 01:1-6

Content The only thing that can lead us to victory today is the Word of God in the midst of hardships caused by the economic cold wave in a turbid and dizzying world.

In particular, in the book of Proverbs, the saints gain wisdom to fear God, and the wisdom of living in the world as saints is contained as a treasure. Please consider the true wisdom contained in this proverb today.

First, the wise hear and accept (Proverbs 1:5·9:8-9). Proverbs 1:5 says, "A wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will find counsel." Also, in 9:8 it says, 'Do not rebuke the scornful, least he hate you.' That's right. A wise man hears and adds instruction, but a fool is haughty and cannot accept it.

Second, a wise person is a winner (Proverbs 11:30). Proverbs 11:30 says, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, but the wise find their way.” Such a wise person is the 'tree of life'. Humans are social animals and cannot live alone. Therefore, a wise person not only makes no enemies, but also makes good people come to him. I hope that you will become a wise person and bear fruit like the beautiful tree of life in your relationships.

Third, a wise person is one who knows how to guard his tongue (Proverbs 16:23-24). Proverbs 16:23 says, 'The heart of the wise makes his mouth prudent, and knowledge is added to his lips'. One thing that cannot be overemphasized is knowing how to keep the words of the tongue. Proverbs 10:19 also says, "In many words, transgression is hard to escape, but he who controls his lips is wise." Wisdom is not talking too much and working through actions. I hope that you will only speak words of affirmation, words of faith, and words of hope in any situation.

Fourth, a wise person is to be diligent in a given task and do his best (Proverbs 10:4-5). Proverbs 10:4-5 says, 'He who is sluggish with his hands will become poor, and he who has diligent hands will become rich. He who reaps in summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who is put to shame.' A wise person is a person who works diligently at the right time.

Through the words of today's book of Proverbs, I hope that all of you will become believers who will overcome this economic crisis wisely.
