Title: Proverbs 23:7 Slumdog Millionaire

Contents Proverbs 23:7

The movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' has many lessons to suggest. Let us know what God's providence is for each of us. There is no such thing as chance from God's point of view. There is a clear providence and plan of God in everything we are born, raised, and experienced.

Even as a saint, there are many complaints about life. We become discouraged by thinking about what we can't do more than what we have, and what we can't do rather than what we have. So, what a person is can be said to be what a person thinks. If your thoughts are holy, you are holy; if your thoughts are bad, you are a bad person. So thinking is important. That is why Proverbs 23:7 says that whatever the thoughts of his heart, so is the great man.

I was also a disgruntled person. Born as the youngest of seven children in a poor family, I was a child not only my parents, but also my brothers and sisters did not want. My father hated me because I was yellow and skinny, and my dual-income mother had no time to take care of me. My brothers and sisters were ashamed of having a younger brother to the people around them. I was ashamed of my birth and was a child of a typical dysfunctional family with markedly low self-esteem.

Then, when I was young, the Lord met me and my thinking changed. I realized that it was no longer a cursed fate. During the short-term mission, my activities were brilliant. When I was evangelizing poor villages in the Philippines, Thailand, and Mongolia, I had a lot to say to those who had a disgusting smell, dirty environment, and lack of focus on their pupils, and the gospel to be preached was clear. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and the present difficult life is an opportunity and blessing to meet the Lord, and only Jesus is man's ultimate hope, and he strongly proclaimed that the curse was turned into a blessing through the cross . Everywhere he went there was grace and success was achieved.

Through this, I realized that the Lord was using my difficult life and using it as His tool. The same is true of today's churches. I want to convey the Lord's absolute providence and hope to people. I hate the words despair, frustration, discouragement, and giving up. These words are a deception given by the devil. These words are not suitable for believers who believe that God lives.

Is your current situation a slumdog? Then expect Millionaire. The Lord will do so through your life experiences. Also, take a good look at the circumstances and events that are permitted now. You can definitely hear the voice of the Lord. Look back, repent of your mistakes, and start anew in the Lord, giving thanks for what you have rather than what you do not have. The day will surely come when we will see the glory of the Lord.
