Title: Punishment for Criminals (Jude 01:5-7)

1. Destiny of Israel's Unbelief in the Wilderness In verse 5, it says, "You originally knew everything, but I want to remind you that the Lord delivered the people out of Egypt and later destroyed the unbelievers." After the Israelites left Egypt, they distrusted God in the wilderness and wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Among them, none of those who did not believe died without being able to set foot in the land of Canaan. Even after entering Canaan, the Israelites paid the price for their sins whenever they distrusted and resented him. Judas was trying to set the right example of faith for the Jews by emphasizing when their ancestors were blessed and when they were punished in the relationship with God by taking the history of Israel in the past so that they could stand in the faith. Although they were able to enter the land of Canaan right after they came out of Egypt, among those who entered Canaan as spies, ten people, except for Joshua and Caleb, spoke unbelievingly. When the Israelites heard this, they were afraid to enter Canaan and blamed God. As a result, all the men who came out of Egypt died while wandering in the wilderness.
