(Introduction) “God does not play dice,” said Einstein. We are not born by chance. Our birth is neither a mistake nor bad luck. Even if my parents didn't plan it, God planned me. Long before our parents were born, God had us in His heart and planned and conceived our existence.
1. I am God's masterpiece
Psalm 138:8 “The LORD will bring perfection to all that pertains to me; O LORD, your lovingkindness endures forever; do not forsake the work of your hands.”
1) God has customized our appearance and personality
2) We are the result of God
Psalm 139:12 “When I was crafted in secret, and marvelously crafted in the depths of the earth, my form was not hidden from you.”
3) He has already decided the timing of our birth and death.
Psalm 139:16 “Before my form was formed, thy eyes saw it; and before one came the days ordained for me, they were all written in thy book.”
2. Everything about me is according to God's purpose
1) He even planned our place of birth and where we would live.
Acts 17:26 “He made of one blood all the families of the human race, and made them dwell in all the earth, and established their age, and set the boundaries of their dwelling.”
2) You cannot be born without God's purpose
James 1:18 “He begot us by the word of truth according to his own purpose, that we might be the firstfruits of his creation.”
3) God's motive for creation is love
Ephesians 1:4 “He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love.”
3. My existence is proof that God loves me
1 John 4:8 “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
1) Not a person with a heart of love, but love itself
2) He cares for and takes responsibility with love even after creation.
Isaiah 46:3-4 “Hear me, O house of Jacob, all you remnant of the house of Israel. You who were embraced by me in the womb, you who were embraced by me from the womb, I will do this to your old age, and I will bear you until you have gray hair. I have made it; I will hold it, I will embrace it, and I will ask and bring it down.”
3) God exists, He has a reason for making us, and our lives have a very important meaning.
4) Only a relationship with God can discover its meaning and purpose
Romans 12:3 By the grace given to me, I say to each one of you, do not think exceedingly as you ought to think, but think wisely according to the measure of faith that God has given you.”
You are what you are for a reason. You are part of God's mysterious plan.
You are precious, perfect and unique, and God is calling you to be His special woman and man......
(Conclusion) I am not a product of chance. I am the result of God's purpose, an intended creation, a glorious masterpiece.
(Meditation Question) Acknowledging that God has made me unique, what aspects of my personality, background, and appearance should I strive to accept?
1. Our lives do not exist by chance.
1) Even if our parents didn't plan it, God planned us.
Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my form before I was formed, and all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one came.
2) God created even the smallest part of our body.
Isaiah 44:2 Fear not, O Jacob my servant, and Jeshurun, my chosen
2. God created everything for a purpose.
1) For God's purpose, He even planned our place of birth and residence.
2) It is no coincidence that we were born in Korea.
Acts 17:26 He made of one blood all the tribes of mankind, and made them dwell in all the earth, and set their ages, and set the boundaries of their dwelling.
3) All animals and plants were created according to God's plan.
3 God is love.
1) It is not "God has a heart of love".
2) Since love is the essence of God's person, God is love.
1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
4. God made us to love.
1) God has perfectly prepared the environment of the earth so that we can live.
2) We are the objects of God's love and are the most valuable of all creation.
3) We must build our lives on the truth of God.
5. Only when we have a relationship with God can we find meaning and purpose in life.
1) Without God, we would all be “by chance.”
2) The product of chance has no purpose, no meaning, no value.
3) There is no right or wrong, and there is no hope except for a short life on Earth.
4) The most accurate way to understand yourself is to have a sincere relationship with God.
Day 2 / About the purpose of my life
Points to think about: I am not a coincidence.
Memorable Words: “Thus says the LORD, who will form you, who will form you in your mother’s womb, and who will help you” (Isaiah 44:2).
The question that comes to life: If I admit that God has made me unique, what aspects of my personality, background, and appearance should I strive to accept? (Let’s increase our self-esteem by acknowledging God’s amazing plan even if we don’t like it)
