Title: Put It All Together! Sunday sermon on October 1, 2006.
Be whole! is the softness of the word to unite So, in order to be united, we have the task of becoming whole first. With imperfect hearts and deeds, it is difficult to achieve unity with each other.
This is also true of marriage. Everyone! What is marriage? In some cases, the bride runs away soon after the wedding ceremony. On the other hand, there are couples who go on their honeymoon and fight for a few days, and then split up at the airport on the way back.
According to some statistics, these days, when three couples get married, one couple puts a stamp on the divorce papers. It's a story I really don't want to tell.
There is a wife who runs away after making eye contact with the police who came to catch the thief.
There are families who went to the house next door to borrow a hammer and fell in love with the owner's uncle. There are some grandfathers and grandmothers who live their whole lives in harm to the end, and then get divorced over property problems after they are over 80. These are truly extraordinary things.
Everyone! That is why we need to shape our character with the Word of God coming down from above, and with the help of the Holy Spirit we need to control our chronic disease--corrupted humanity.
What is coincidence otherwise? It is no different from the act of consolidation and collection. So what is union in this state? It can only be seen as a kind of business driven by extremely political interests.
In other words, this can be seen as a kind of commercial activity to gain profit. So it can be split at any time. That means you can pack your bags at any time.
In the alleyways, it is the so-called “sloppy man” who targets passers-by. Ready to tulle at any time and do the so-called business? unfold. If the police are coming, we are on the alert all around. (Yabawi is a game that deceives others).
What is this world? I can't believe it. Let the deceived stay still
not. A person who has suffered a loss engages in revenge to recover the loss. So the world is always a noisy battlefield.
Everyone! There is a saying that kids grow up when they fight, right? Are you saying that all children usually fight? Or are you saying that there are no kids who don't fight?
I also fought a lot when I was young. I had a lot of fights with just Wiet sister. Also, I think I had a lot of fights with my peers in the village. After fighting, when we are hungry, we go home, eat, and fight again. If it's still not over, we go back to fight the next day.
The reason I fought so persistently as a child wasn't because I had a reason to fight back then. And it's not because I'm a fighter, it's just that, because it's fun to see my older brothers fight, I keep fighting.
Everyone! Esau and Jacob had a fight from the womb of their mother. So when we came out of our mother's womb, we tried to get out of each other first. And Jacob grabbed the ankle of his older brother “Esau” and came out. This is a true story that the Bible testifies to us.
That's why people fight even when they grow up. Rather, it's strange that they don't fight. It's not just people fighting. Chicks fight, puppies fight. If you see chickens in our church, they fight with each other. And the mother chicken and the chick fight.
Perhaps the mother chicken is scolding because the chick does not listen to the mother chicken well? But I think that naughty chick didn't listen and climbed up on the mother chicken.
So there is a fighting field, and there is a fighting dog field. There is also a bullring. Spiders also attach fights. The stinger also attaches a fight. Beetles also attach fights. There is nothing to not fight. Everyone fights.
Fighting families and fighting neighbors fight for many reasons. In the old days, the electricity bill, water bill, and even the problem of putting trash cans could cause fights between households living in rent. When you go to a tap, you fight to get tap water first.
And again, countries fight each other. The strong powers torment the weaker ones. In Korea, it is not only the inter-Korean issues. The Dokdo issue is serious. These days, the problem has become a hot potato again. China is revealing its true colors following the so-called Northeast Project.
In other words, it is asserted that Goguryeosa, the history of our country, was on the outskirts of China and thus was a local government of China. So their plan, in a word, is that the history of South Korea is limited to the south of the Han River, revealing the intention of incorporating it into China if North Korea collapses and becomes anarchy in the future. This is the world's international relations. So, I want to live in a world where there is no fighting.
Nowadays, our society is polarized. We are suffering from measles due to inter-Korean conflict, inter-Korean conflict, and labor-management problems. It may be called a transitional phenomenon, but in the end, they are fighting each other.
Up to now, the history of the world has been a history of fighting and a history of war. Historically, the world's peoples have never achieved peace. Everyone! There are many cases where we humans fight like this.
Some have a lack of understanding and an inability to control their fiery nature. The problem, however, is that there are impure forces behind the scenes that want to keep fighting each other.
We don't just fight. Because there are people who separate each other and make them fight. This is true of individual problems, social problems, and inter-state problems.
Consider the Gwangju Incident in 1980. We could not forget the great tragedy of our nation's history that arose between the martial law forces and the citizens of Gwangju under martial law. I can't explain in words all the things that happened at that time.
At that time, Gwangju citizens were sold to a mob. Now it is said that it was the “Gwangju Democratization Movement.” There were a lot of rumors around that time. There was no way to know what was true and what was false.
Everyone! We don't know. However, the power of Satan was clearly lurking behind it. Satan is always very excited and content when he sees us fighting and bleeding each other.
Satan loves fools. Satan likes greedy and cunning people. Satan likes those who have a deceiving tongue. Satan prefers those who are unconscionable and deceitful.
Satan uses these people as his servants, pours out evil spirits, and causes them to keep disturbing each other. create rumors. It creates an atmosphere as if the situation is very serious. And put up a fight.
This is just like the words of Matthew 17:15. Lord have mercy on my son. He suffered greatly from epilepsy, and often fell into fire and fell into water. 16) I came to thy disciples, but they could not heal them. 17) Jesus answered and said to them, "O faithless and rebellious generation, how long I am with you, and how long will I endure you? Bring him here." 18) Then Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out, and the child was healed from that time. Everyone! This is the state of a person possessed by a demon who does not cover fire or water.
Emperor Nero, called “the incarnation of evil,” set fire to the city of Rome as a brutal dictator, ruthless slayer, homosexual and even poisoning his own mother.
Then go up to the roof and do maiming. And he is enjoying it. Very satisfied. And they blamed the Christians for the cause of the fire and drove many Christians to the dew of death. In the end, he himself committed suicide and ended his life miserably.
In short, it's like watching a madman's frenzy.
Everyone! For that reason, we should not listen too much to what others have to say. We always need to know what we are doing. We should always be faithful to our work.
Proverbs 22:29. Have you seen a man who is sincere in his business? Such a man will stand before a king, and not before a thousand men. Everyone! Those who will succeed in the future are those who understand the above words well.
Proverbs 16:28-29. A virtuous person stirs up quarrels, and a horseman finds close friends.
separate (離間) 29) A violent man deceives his neighbor and leads him in an evil way.
Proverbs 18:8. The words of those who love to talk are like a special meal, and they go down to the depths of their stomach.
Proverbs 26:17-21. He who crosses the road and interferes in a strife that is not his own is like a catcher of a dog. 18) There is a madman who kills by throwing torches and shooting flesh. 19) So is he who deceives his neighbor and says, "I made fun of you." 20) When the wood is exhausted, the fire goes out, and when there is no horse market, quarrels cease. 21) As charcoal is added to charcoal fire, and wood is added to burning fire, so those who love quarrels are arguing.
raises up
Everyone! Now I would like to close my speech. What is the Apostle Paul's position on the Corinthian conflict? He exhorts me in the name of Jesus Christ. Let all of you speak the same thing, and that there will be no divisions among you, and that you should be perfectly united in the same mind and in the same will.
recommended here The word is usually recommended, encouraged. But in today's words, I beg or plead. It has a strong meaning. And to say the same thing means to glorify the one God with one mouth.
Romans 15:4-6. Whatever has been written before is written for our instruction, that we may have hope, either with perseverance or with the comfort of the Scriptures. 5) Now the God of patience and comfort grants you to be like one another, imitating Christ Jesus. 6) With one heart and one mouth you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
On the other hand, He says, “Be together completely” with the same heart and the same meaning. Through these words, we are required to make a unified confession of faith in Christ.
Because, what is a dispute here? Because it refers to the differences of opinion that are dividing the church.
Let me finish by looking at one more word. 1 Peter 4:11. If anyone speaks, let him speak as if he were speaking the word of God, and if anyone would serve, let him do it with the power that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom glory and power forever and ever. there is so much Amen.
