I. Introduction
Ⅱ.Into the Word
So, what is the most important question that changes people?
The first question is, “Who are you, Lord?”
The question “Who are you, Lord?” is a question that can be asked by those who meet Jesus. It is an important question that will help you to get to know Jesus and yourself properly by meeting Jesus. Through this question, Saul realized that he had been persecuting Jesus, the Son of God, even though he claimed to be serving God. Through meeting Jesus, I came to know that Jesus, who died on the cross and that Jesus, who was resurrected and ascended into heaven, is not the chief of a heresy, but is my Savior, who took away all of his sins, shed his blood, and rose from the dead. Saul realized that he was committing a great sin of persecuting Jesus. Saul clearly met Jesus and experienced a wonderful change through meeting him.
Have you truly met Jesus? Have you asked this question to Jesus? Did you come to believe and understand the answer to that question as clearly as Saul did? If any of you have never asked this question and have not yet found the answer, I hope you will ask this question to Jesus. So, before the end of today, I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will become a born-again person by realizing and believing the answer to that question.
After you have believed in Jesus, you must live with confidence along with these evidences. To those who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Because God has given us eternal life, and that eternal life is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, those who believe in Jesus are those who are in Jesus and enjoy eternal life together. I hope to live with this clear conviction.
The second question is, “Lord, what will you do?”
Like Saul, you who have found the answer to the first question must ask the second question, “Lord, what will you do?” exactly! I hope you ask this question. Jesus, who answered this question to Saul to serve as church workers, answers us today to become workers for the kingdom of God and church workers. What can you as workers in the kingdom of God do? You can shepherd the next generation, evangelize, visit, raise children, pick up toilet paper at the church, take care of children, etc. I hope that you will be loyal to the mission Jesus gives you.
Ⅲ. Concluding remarks
I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will know who Jesus is through the question “Who are you?” and know the mission of those who believe in Jesus through the question “Lord, what will you do?” do.
