Title: Reach out the hand of faith
Today's sermon is about a woman who had been suffering from a blood clot for 12 years when she heard that Jesus was passing by, believed that if she touched the hem of Jesus' robe, she would be healed. This is what I came back to. Many were there and had contact with the Lord, but that large crowd did not experience the Lord's miracles.
Then, what could be the specific reason why this woman reached out her hand of faith and was completely healed? First, we must reach out with a sincere wish. A person without a wish can never bear the fruit of success. At the very least, you must be able to stake your life on a wish so that the wish of your heart can come true.
Second, reach out with confidence in the power of Jesus. This woman is clearly convinced that the power of Jesus will surely heal her. The size of faith is proportional to the size of miracles. Jesus checks whether those who come to experience miracles and receive grace first have faith. In other words, when you confess your conviction of faith after confirming whether you have confidence in the power of Jesus, Jesus performed a wonderful miracle. Don't live your life of faith as a fluke of whether you can fix it or not. Our remedy is God. Trust in the power of the Lord and do not hesitate to reach out.
Third, reach out with a transcendent, absolute faith in Jesus. This woman believed that if she touched Jesus' clothes, she would be healed. It is clearly not common sense thinking and ignorant faith to think that a disease that has been worn for a long time will be cured simply by touching clothes. However, it is an absolute faith that is based on the greatest wisdom of mankind, which is fully convinced of God's power. In other words, because this woman had such a super common sense and absolute faith in Jesus, she touched the hem of Jesus' robe and was able to become the protagonist of a miracle.
