Title: Raise Your Holy Hands
Contents
First of all, the image of the family that Paul presents to us is a praying family.
When Jews prayed, they usually raised their hands in prayer. The psalms also contain descriptions of raising hands in prayer or praising. Raising your hand is not meant to look good, it is an expression of trust and longing for God. It is very natural to trust God and raise your hands when you are touched by His grace and praise His grace. Paul said to raise up holy hands, not just hands. When we raise our hands, we can let go of the things we hold onto the world and the things we seek. It means giving up the hands of anger and strife, giving up the hands of desire and lust, giving up the life of idolatry and sin. When we raise our holy hands, the doors of sin that have disturbed us, shamed us, and led us astray are closed. When fathers go before God and raise their holy hands in prayer, God restores spiritual power to us and makes our homes strong and strong. Therefore, the person who prays for the family is the person who can protect the family and restore it. May you raise up your holy hands in prayer, keep away from anger and contention, and proclaim blessings and peace.
When we raise our holy hands, we realize the authority of God that has been given to us, and we are determined to fight the spiritual battle in that position. Instead of strife, anger, and the image of the old man, I am determined to live in the position God has given me and in a holy image. When we go outdoors today and worship God with nature and friendship, we hope that we will make a commitment to ‘we will make our homes more beautiful’ and ‘we will make our farms and churches beautiful’. I hope that you believe that the power of this blessing has been given to you and that you have the abundant grace of God in your heart.
