Title: Ready Life
Contents Bible text: Ecclesiastes 1:12-18 Title: Preparation for life
Ecclesiastes 1:12-18.
12 I, the evangelist, became king of Israel in Jerusalem, 13 with all my heart and with wisdom, studying all that is done under heaven.
I have looked, and this is a painful thing, and God has given men to toil. 14 I have seen all that is done under the sun.
Behold, all is vanity, a chasing after wind. 15 What is crooked cannot be made straight, and what is lacking cannot be counted. 16 I have spoken in my heart, saying, Behold, I will become great.
I have gained more wisdom than all those who were in Jerusalem before me.
It's better, because my heart has found much wisdom and knowledge. 17 I want to know wisdom again, and to know crazy things and foolish things.
I put my heart into it, but I realized that this too is a chasing after the wind. 18 In much wisdom there are many troubles; and he that adds to knowledge adds to sorrow.
1. Let's live for a holy purpose
1) Jesus prayed that your faith would not fail. (Luke 22:32)
2) It is sanctified by the word of God and prayer (1 Timothy 4:5).
Let's read Jude 1 together.
1 Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, was the called
to find love in God the Father and for Jesus Christ
To those who are guarded: 2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. 3 Beloved, concerning the salvation we have received in general, I tell you.
While I was earnestly thinking of writing a letter, I prayed for the way of faith given to the saints at once
I felt the necessity of exhorting you with a letter to fight for your sake, 4 for there are some who have come in secretly;
It was written beforehand, being ungodly, instead of the grace of our God,
turn it into debauchery, and turn to the one and only Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 You already know all the facts, but I want to remind you again.
The Lord delivered the people out of Egypt, and later destroyed the unbelievers, 6 and the angels who did not keep their place and departed from their dwelling place until the judgment of the great day.
imprisoned in darkness with everlasting bondage; 7 Sodom and Gomorrah, and their neighboring cities, committed harlotry in the same way as they did.
They went after other flesh and became a mirror, being punished by eternal fire. 8 But these dreamers likewise defile the flesh and despise authority.
9 When Michael the archangel quarreled with the devil concerning the body of Moses,
Dare not to judge a slanderer, but to say,
May the Lord rebuke you. 10 These men slander whatever they do not know.
And they perish, like irrational beasts, by what they know instinctively. 11 "Woe to you, men, who walked in the way of Cain,
They have gone astray by the way of Balaam, and have been destroyed because of the rebellion of Korah." 12 They ate with you without fear; they are a reef in your love feasts.
A shepherd who feeds only himself, a cloud without water blown by the wind
A fruitless autumn tree that dies and dies and uproots, 13 The raging waves of the sea foaming at its own shame, reserved for eternity.
They are wandering stars that will return to darkness. 14 Enoch, the seventh son of Adam, also prophesied of these men, saying,
Behold, the Lord has come with ten thousands of his holy ones, 15 to judge all men, and all ungodly
All ungodly deeds done ungodly
And because of all the hard words spoken by ungodly sinners against the Lord,
16 These are murmurers, grievers, and walkers of their lusts.
17 Beloved, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said in advance, 18 They say to you, In the last days, walk after your ungodly
19 These are the divisors, the natural, and without the Holy Spirit 20 Beloved, build yourselves upon your most holy faith,
Pray in the Holy Spirit 21 keep yourself in the love of God to eternal life
Wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 Have mercy on those who doubt. 23 Bring others out of the fire and save them.
And hate a man even the clothes of his flesh, but have mercy on him with fear. 24 He is able to protect you and make you unhindered, that you may stand before his glory.
To this one who will stand blameless and joyfully 25, our Savior and the only God, through our Lord Jesus Christ
Glory and majesty and power and authority be from eternity, now and forever. Amen
2. Let's work out our salvation with fear and trembling
1) Do not lean left or right
Think deeply of Jesus, look to Jesus, follow Jesus!
2) Don't look back
Think of Lot's wife
3. Prepare for Eternal Life
Revelation 14:9-13.
9 Another angel, the third, followed after him, saying with a loud voice, If anyone
When he worships his idol and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out unmixed into the cup of his wrath.
Wine, tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their afflictions will rise for ever and ever. Worship the beast and his image.
No one who receives the mark of his name will find rest day or night. 12 Here is the patience of the saints,
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write
Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on.
Said the Holy Spirit: Yes, they will rest from their toil.
It is according to what they have done.??Matthew 7:21-23. 21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven.
Only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 On that day many said to me, ?쏬ord, Lord, let us go in your name.
Prophet and cast out demons in your name
Have I not done many mighty works in your name? 23 At that time I said to them plainly, I never knew you.
You who practice lawlessness, depart from me.
