Title: Realize God (Jeremiah 10:6-16)
Contents 1. Is God truly alive? In the holistic thinking, we can't help but be stunned. He tried to judge our injustice by accidents on three sides of the land, sea, and air, but now he has made us fall to the depths of the earth, so he seems to be judging our rotten hearts. Now, we cannot live a human life as well as a life of a sincere believer only through external and formal repentance. We cannot escape this talent without realizing who God is through our total conversion of our lives. Fake faith that seeks God only with our outer skin and ridicules us in the inside is no longer acceptable. The faith of the Old Testament prophets calls for a break from this formalism. He criticizes our foolishness and ignorance to trust and serve what is nothing more than deceit, vainness, and ridicule. only God There is no other way. We hear the warnings of the prophets Amos (Amos 5:4-8).
2. When will God's judgment come? The Bible describes the situation of this judgment in many ways. ① It is given because of idolatry and unrighteousness (Jeremiah 1:16) ② It comes from pride that destroys humanity. (Genesis 6: 13-17) ③ It comes when we disobey God’s will. (Mal 3:5) ④ And it ends with the final judgment. We must learn to fear before Noah's flood judgment, the language judgment of the Tower of Babel, the fire judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the final judgment that will come in the last days. Living in denial of the Lord's will for the sake of present pleasures and pleasures causes harm to ourselves first. This is not serving the Lord as Lord, not thinking of people as beings in the precious image of God (James 3:9), and thinking or treating them as objects. Total injustice destroys humanity and leads to global death. A Christian must clearly know and seek out who God is. Otherwise, like fools and idolaters, we are bound to perish.
3. We must overcome the injustices of this age and discover the true will of God and know what God is like. In order to know and understand God, you must first change your mind. Without a pure heart, one cannot see God. (Psalm 24:3-4, Matthew 5:8) Beautiful things of hope cannot be seen by those who are covered with worldly greed and unrighteous eyes. (Titus 1:15) ② Also We must seek and know God (Isaiah 58:2). Because our lives change depending on whether we have knowledge of God or not. Indeed, God is our Lord and Lord of all things. (Isa 11:9, Hos 4:6) ③ Lastly, we must learn to fear and serve God, and to rejoice with trembling. (Psalm 2:11) Such contradictory behavior is natural. For it is our honor to know how to fear the majestic God, and to know that He is our eternal Father. These days, people who live without God, say they serve God, but are not speaking foolish things and saying that God is sleeping!
4. The word of the Lord given in these times is to realize and understand God. Although only God is worthy of reverence and is the true Lord, are we drowning in vain idolatry and walking the path of self-destruction? Rather than repenting of our own injustices, we are very young if we live our lives by blaming others or serving vain crafts. It can only be a gypsum, foolish life (verses 8-9). We must not live as foolish disciples who still ask, 'What does this mean?' wake up! Open!
