If we are to find the conditions we are thankful for from God, there are so many that it is difficult to list them all (specifically).

This text is David's prayer. We want to receive grace by meditating on the contents of David's prayer. The saints give thanks to God every season, and they think of the condition of thanks only as visible material, but there are many more precious things than that.

1. Because you are our strength (1)

“O LORD, my strength, I love you.” Humans cannot live even for a moment unless God, who is the source of strength, provides us with strength. So the psalmist said that he loves God, who is the source of his strength. I love you. This is a term used when God loves life, but in this verse, man is used as the subject in a very exceptional way. Therefore, it can be said that this term sums up the thought of the entire psalm as it shows the close relationship between David and God.

The prophet Isaiah said, "He gives strength to the weary, and he gives strength to the weak. Even young men are weary and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who wait in the Lord will find new strength, like eagles soaring on wings. I will run and I will not get weary, I will walk and not get wear” (Isaiah 40:29-31). Therefore, it is natural to give thanks to God for strength.
