John 20:21--23, Receive the Holy Spirit. Recitation; Zechariah 4:6 / Praise; Praise of the Holy Spirit

------------------------------------------------

II. Why does God pour out the Holy Spirit in the last days? In other words, why did Jesus say, 'Receive the Holy Spirit'? (John 20:22)

1. In order to be able to keep the law of the New Testament

1) After Jesus came, God gave the children of God the law of citizens of heaven. After Jesus spoke of the law of citizens of heaven, the purpose of my coming to this earth was, 'Don't think that I came to break the law or the prophets. . I did not come to destroy it, but to complete it (Matthew 5:17)

2. In order to be able to keep the faith in times of trouble

The history of the world is moving towards the day of the Second Coming of Jesus.

1) Then, when will Jesus come again? Matthew 24:29 'In that day, immediately after the tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.' . Jesus said that He would return after the tribulation.

3. It is for the purpose of fulfilling the mission of the witness of Jesus.

1) Jesus was in the world for 40 days after His resurrection. The time has come for the Lord to go to the throne of heaven on a cloud. However, before the Lord goes, he tells his disciples, 'Do not leave Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the Father. and will be taxed by the Holy Spirit' (Acts 1:4--8).

2) Regarding receiving the Holy Spirit, even after Jesus was resurrected, he appeared to the disciples first and spoke to them. In John 20:21--23, after Jesus was resurrected, he prayed for peace to his disciples and told them that they would receive the Holy Spirit for the fulfillment of their mission. he spoke That is, after saying, ‘As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you’, and he breathed out toward them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’ Why did Jesus first tell His disciples to receive the Holy Spirit after He was resurrected? It is because we must be armed with the power of the Holy Spirit to do well in preaching the gospel and expanding the land of the kingdom of God. Application: We are preparing for the 3/21 Kuni Feast. There are quite a few children in your class who don't come to church these days. And with the new school year, new friends are also in our class. Make sure to invite them all to this Kuni Feast. I can't do it on my own. Therefore, I need to ask God the Holy Spirit for help. Then, God the Holy Spirit gives the heart of love for the soul in our hearts and guides resting children and unbelievers to come to Jesus.

. Conclusion: How can I receive the Holy Spirit and be filled with the Holy Spirit?

1) Pray with the desire to receive the Holy Spirit and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Psalm 107:9 'The LORD satisfies the longing soul...' Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk, this is debauchery, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.

2) You must show the attitude of always making Jesus the king in your life (Galatians 2:20). Let Jesus always be the driver of my heart, not me.

3) You must not sin. If you are in weakness and commit a sin, you need to repent and be filled with the Holy Spirit quickly. /Pray for the Holy Spirit and be filled with the Holy Spirit, and live victoriously in a life filled with the Holy Spirit
