Title: Receive the Word with All Your Heart

Receive the Word with all your heart

Text/ Acts 2:42

1. Introduction

Therefore, I think it is very important for us to take a closer look at each of the three types of church life shown by the people of the first church in the world. Today, for the first time, I would like to share grace while meditating on how the phrase “they received the word with all their heart” can be reinterpreted for us living today.

2. What is the <Teaching of the Apostles = Word>?

Karl Barth's theologically, the <Word> means the <living God>, the <written Bible>, and <the sermon preached through the servant of the Lord in each age>, and the dynamic explosive force that is expressed through the inner, spiritual, and union of the three ideals. has been defined as the <word>. However, when we say <Word> here today, we will refer to <Word> only as <Word of the written Bible> as <Word>. Then, what does the Bible say about the Word?

o Your word, O LORD, stands firm in heaven forever; Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light to my path, and a comfort in my troubles (Psalm 119:89,105,50). The grass withers and the flowers wither, but the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8). The Bible is able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for correction, and for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:15-16) o The word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, It pierces even to the division of the spirit and of the joints and of the marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Sanctify them with the truth, for your word is truth (John 8:31-32; John 17:17). - What more evidence would you give?

3. However, <Word> has amazing and amazing power

Why are words important? Why are words precious and precious?. Because the Word is full of the power to save people. The Bible is filled with joy, praise, and thanksgiving for <The Power of the Word>. What, then, is the testimony of the Bible about the power of the Word?

In the beginning was the Word...In him was life, and the life was the light of men (John 1:1-4) To those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death and suffer, God sends <the word> to those who are near the door of death to heal them and deliver them from their perilous situation (Psalm 107:10-22). o Not hunger for lack of food, not thirst for lack of water, hunger and thirst for not hearing the word of the Lord (Amos 8:11-12). o Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Just say the word, and my servant will be healed (Matthew 8:8).

4. Receive the Word with all your heart

<Word> is life. <Word> is power. <Word> is a blessing. The way my soul lives is in the <Word>, the blessings of my family are in the <Word>, and the prosperity of my business is in the <Word> (Look at the history of successful businesses and businessmen. They are fundamentally based on the Word. You will know that the business has been accomplished by doing so).

If the heart is not loaded, hearing but not hearing, seeing and not seeing, eating and not knowing the taste. People only see what they know. If you love, you will know, and if you know you will see, but what you see at that time is different from what you have seen before. The bell rings with the power of the person who rings the bell. Are all these words put in your heart? wasn't it posted? speaks of the difference.

Do you want blue life, the ability to erupt, and a blessed life?. If so, you must receive the <Word>. Does the <Word> become the <True Word>? Will it be <empty noise>? What I do is entirely up to me. do you have a heart don't you? That's a problem.

5. Closing story - How will you speak with all your heart?

first. Before reading or listening to the Word, you must first pray earnestly. Heavenly Father, just speak to me. I will listen. What do you want to say? Please give me the necessary words. give me ears to hear you must pray.

second. Read the Word, listen to it, and write down how to apply it and put it into practice in my real life. Do it now! You must start right now.

third. No one can receive the Word and live like Jesus right now. We are not Jesus. But we must be like Jesus. Therefore, it cannot be said that the life of faith has been completed. We just do what we get to what level we have reached (Philippians 3:7-16). But never give up on life!. That is the existence of believers who receive the Word with all their heart. Oh Lord help me. Amen.
