First of all, we need to organize our prayers. According to today's Bible, there are reasons why prayers were not answered. You must not seek it out of lust. Even if you are greedy, you will not get it, and if you quarrel, you will not be answered (verses 1-2). God has given the saints prayer as a powerful weapon. I heard a lot about prayer during sermons and Bible study classes, and every member of the church tells us how to receive answers in various ways. If prayers are not answered, I need to rearrange my prayer life. Rather than praying unconditionally, we should reorganize our prayers and try to have an effective prayer life.
We need to correct our inclination towards the world. Those who become friends with the world become enemies of God (verse 4). In Genesis 19, Abraham's nephew Lot loved the world and lost his house, property, and wife in Sodom. So there are many temptations and temptations around us. Otherwise, it is easy to lean towards the world. At first it seems to lean for a while, but later it can tilt to the point where it cannot be fixed. Is the world interesting and tempting me? Please fix it quickly and stand on God's side.
We must abandon pride and be humble (verse 6). If any of us work ahead of others, have learned or have more than others, beware of pride. Postage stamps must remain on the letter until the mail arrives for delivery. Believers must keep their faith stamps until they go to heaven. Many people are humble at first, but after success they fall into pride. Unfortunately, it is impossible to go to heaven and the stamp disappears in the middle.
Before winter comes, the car must be prepared for winter. The wives of the household make kimchi for their winter diet. Likewise, do you pray right? Aren't you leaning too much on the world? Are you humble? If not, let's prepare our faith for the winter of faith.
