Rejoice / Philippians 4:4-9
King Solomon said, “Rejoice in the days of prosperity, and think in the days of trouble (Ecclesiastes 7:14). I knew that there is nothing better than being happy and doing good while a man lives (Ecclesiastes 3:12). There is nothing better than to live happily, to do good in life. There is a saying in the book that successful people have different advantages. Make today always a good day. laugh and sing today See only the bright side of life. Let go of pessimism and follow optimism. I told you to stop saying you can't do it. The Bible says, “A joy in the heart makes the face bright, but a sorrow of the heart bruises the soul” (Proverbs 15:13). “A joy of the heart is good medicine, but a troubled spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22). A person who enjoys the world and life and lives with a cheerful and cheerful outlook on life is good for their health and good for others to see. Let's enjoy the world we live for a while. let's live happily
1. There are many happy things in the world.
2. If you truly believe in Jesus, you can rejoice.
In Acts 26:24-25, he said, "Festus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Paul, you are crazy, and your many studies are driving you crazy." Paul said, "Sir, Festus, I am not crazy. It is one word that is true and sober.” You can see how much Paul loved and believed in Jesus Christ by looking at his words. (1) Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31) (2) Whether by life or death, Christ may be glorified in my body (Philippians 1:20) (3) For me to live is Christ. To die is gain (Philippians 1:21). His words show how much he believed in Jesus Christ. Because of the noblest knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, I have lost everything for him and counted it as dung (Philippians 3:8).
From the day he accepted Jesus in his heart, his heart was filled with joy. He was happy even in prison. So while in prison, he told the Philippians to rejoice a lot. 1 I will rejoice and I will rejoice (Philippians 1:18) 2 I will rejoice and rejoice with all of you (Phil 2:17) 3 Rejoice ye and rejoice with me (Phil 2:18) ⑷ Rejoice in the Lord, my brethren. (Phil 3:1) ⑸ Rejoice in the Lord always, I say again, rejoice (Phil 4:4) ⑹ I rejoice greatly in the Lord (Phil 4:10). Paul rejoiced because he believed in Jesus. Those who rejoice in believing in Jesus are true members of the church. He knows the true meaning of Christianity.
The Lord Jesus loves me, and I love Jesus. He came down to save me and died on the cross. I am glad and rejoice because the Lord loves me. I am very glad that the Lord Jesus loves me (241:4).
3. Rejoice in the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit rejoices. In Luke 10:21, it says that Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit. Because of the inspiration and influence of the Holy Spirit, his humanity rejoices in the likeness of God. The joy that the Holy Spirit gives in the world is a part of the joy that believers receive in the kingdom of God. It's definitely the Holy Spirit's assurance. The saints can experience the joy of heaven in advance by receiving the Holy Spirit.
“When there was no peace in the past when we fell into sin, we fell at the feet of Jesus through the merits of the cross and found true peace with the Spirit of the Lord
You walk with me and know all your worries. I rejoice as a bird in the forest. I do your will with a glad heart, for your Spirit is with me.
(Refrain) The Holy Spirit is with you, hallelujah, walking on the narrow path, rejoicing day and night, for the Spirit of the Lord is with you” (Hymns 427).
We believers rejoice in worldly things. But our true joy is in that heaven. I spoke of laughter, saying, It is madness; and of joy, I said, “What does he do?” (Ecclesiastes 2:2). But the joy and joy that the Lord gives you is eternal.
