Title: Relations between Jacob and the Gentiles
Abraham had two sons, but he abandoned Ishmael, the son of lust, and gave Isaac as the promised child of God. Isaac conceived twins through Rebekah, but God abandoned Esau in Rebekah's womb and chose Jacob . Therefore, if Isaac is a person who foreshadows Jesus Christ who will come to the land of Israel, Jacob is foreshadows the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles.
Jesus, who came as the type of Isaac, showed us a life of thorough obedience to the Father. This is just as Isaac lived a life of obedience before Abraham. When Isaac was 25 years old, when he was offered as a sacrifice before God on Mount Moriah, it can be seen that Isaac obeyed his father's command to the point of foolishness and ascended to the pyre as a sacrifice.
This is also a foreshadowing of the coming Christ who will also live the same life. Jesus, who came to the land of Israel, was also killed on the cross as a ransom for the sins of mankind at the age of 34 according to the will of the Father. However, as proof that he is innocent, he rose from the dead after 3 days and ascended to heaven to be with his Father.
Israel is a nation that was born through the lineage of Abraham-Isaac-Jacob. If we analyze the Hebrew word for Israel semantically, it contains the meaning of ‘God reigns’. It is for the same reason that God called 'Jacob' 'Israel'. Therefore, the people of Israel were people who lived under the rule of the law from birth, so they did not need to preach separately like the Gentiles.
Because of this blood relationship, the people of Israel not only regarded themselves as holy people of Israel, but also lived a life of worship before God with the highest pride. For that reason, when they saw strangers living without knowing God, they treated them like dogs and pigs and did not want to engage with them. This is similar to how believers today treat unbelievers as demons.
But they foolishly knew one and not the other. It was known that just being born of the lineage of Abraham-Isaac-Jacob would automatically make him righteous. And I thought that the sins of those who broke the law would be forgiven if they went to the temple and slaughtered the sheep. But they had no idea that everything they did when they went to the temple was a type of the Christ who was to come. Because they did not know such a fact, they did not believe in Jesus even though the reality had come before their eyes.
If Isaac lived a life of obedience, then Jacob was, in a word, a sinister and cowardly man. Compared to his older brother Esau, Jacob is a conspirator within himself. Even when his older brother Esau went hunting, Jacob was the kind of person who only circulated around the house holding onto his mother's skirt. Such a person conspires with his mother to take away his older brother's birthright, and he escapes late at night and hides in his uncle's house, demonstrating the skill of taking in his uncle's daughters and his servants as his wives in turn. Even my uncle's sheep make more than half their own. Again, it proves that Jacob is a greedy man.
However, because of the fact that he deceived his older brother, he is also deceived by his uncle and suffers a lot of ups and downs. Anyway, I can't erase the feeling that Jacob resembles many Koreans. But why did God choose such a person to be a person who succeeded in the genealogy of Christ? It would have been much nicer if he had chosen the manly Esau.
But who knows that this is the work of God! The fact that God forsook the manly Esau and chose Jacob, the cowardly and insidious man, foreshadowed the fact that the Son of God who would appear before the Gentiles would appear in this very form. So that's why I chose him. God had already foreshadowed even the Son of God who would appear before the Gentiles about 4,000 years later. Isn't that surprising?
God does not judge this world without notice, and He says that He will never proceed with anything without telling Him in advance. God did not suddenly send Jesus to the land of Israel as Savior. The Son of God, who would come through Isaac, showed in advance what he would do when he came to the land of Israel and sent his son. Similarly, if we look at Jacob's life, we can vaguely guess what the Son of God will look like before the Gentiles. And we can roughly guess what he will do when he comes.
If it had not been necessary to send another son before the Gentiles, there would have been no need for Rebekah to conceive twins and to choose Jacob there. Judging by the power of Almighty God, the history of Israel could have ended with just one Isaac. But God, who is impartial to all people, does not do it as man thinks, but God's great intention is that he will send his own sons before Israel and the Gentiles to make those who believe in him and come out as his children.
But now, Gentiles like to be saved by calling on the name of Jesus who came to the land of Israel. The salvation that Gentiles received by calling on the name of Jesus now is salvation from the lives of Gentiles who did not know God and lived like dogs and pigs, but it is not the salvation that leads to eternal life. This is just as the people of Israel like to be sanctified when they are born of Abraham's lineage.
Just as the people of Israel, to enter into perfect salvation (eternal life), must not only be born of Abraham's lineage, but must have a son sent by God. It is a fact that we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven by ourselves, and we must believe in the Son of God who is sent to the Gentiles as a type of Jacob to achieve complete salvation (eternal life).
Therefore, the members of each church should not be satisfied with calling on the name of Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit, but also should not forget the fact that they are sinners who have not fully followed the Holy Spirit. Just as the people of Israel could not fully follow the law, even today's Christians do not have anyone who can fully follow the Holy Spirit. It is impossible from the beginning for Gentiles with corrupt hearts to fully follow the Holy Spirit. He wants to make that impossible possible by sending the Son of God.
Just as Jesus, who came as the type of Isaac, came to fulfill the law, the Son of God who comes as the type of Jacob also comes to forgive all the sins of the Gentiles who have disobeyed the law of the Holy Spirit and lived their own lives. All Gentiles, including Christians, must believe in the Son of God who comes in this way to receive forgiveness of all sins and to enter into full salvation.
When Gentiles believe in the Son of God who comes as a type of Jacob, the most important thing to watch out for is not to compare him with Jesus, who came to the land of Israel. Just as Jacob, who is like an earthworm, cannot be compared with Isaac, the son of obedience, Jesus who came to the land of Israel and the Son of God who came before the Gentiles are markedly different in appearance. Since Jesus was born without sin, he can be holy both on the outside and on the inside. You will end up stumbled without fail.
Therefore, the Son of God who comes before the Gentiles is like Jacob, who is mean and insidious, never reveals his inner feelings in front of people, and he is also stubborn, so no one can break his stubbornness. Such a person was chosen by God to have the Spirit of Christ in his heart, and he became a son of God. Therefore, when Gentiles believe in the Son sent by God, they should not believe based on his outward appearance, but should see and believe if his words and actions are consistent.
There are many people who teach and admonish the Bible in the church today, but the reason that no one lives according to the Bible is because they are living their faith only with words. Even those who teach the Bible cannot live according to the Word, so how can the saints below them live a righteous life? To live according to the words of the Bible, Gentiles must believe in the Son sent by God and be born again.
Many prophets today call Korea the Jerusalem of the East. The reason it is called that is because Koreans most resemble Jacob's personality. Even the prophets do not know why Korea is called the Jerusalem of the East, and are prophesying as the Holy Spirit moves them. However, in that prophecy, it is foretelling the Son of God who will appear in Korea. It is the same logic as when John the Baptist sees Jesus and calls him “the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world,” but when he is imprisoned, he asks, “Are you the one who is to come?”
Then, why does God exclude people from many countries and choose Koreans to create His Son? This is because Koreans most resemble Jacob's characteristics the most. There are very few people in the world who are as different from the outside and inside as Koreans and have a dual personality. God chooses these people to be His sons, and through such people, He wants to start the last Gentile salvation work.
Now, sooner or later, such a person will appear before the Gentiles. Now, whether we like it or not, all Gentiles, including Christians, must believe in such a person as the Son of God to become a true child of God. -He who has ears shall hear and understand...
