Title: Religious education is so important

The miracle of Oh Byeong-Eye!
Among the miracles of Jesus, it is an unavoidable (?) event.
May this wonderful grace overflow in your life.
In the text, there are four people: Jesus, Philip, Andrew, and a little child.
Today, we have worship services on Children's Sunday, so we will focus on children.
If you look at verse 9 of the text, it says, “There is a child here who has five barley loaves and two fish. But how much does it cost for so many people?”
Philip analyzed realistic situations with a smart head and spoke, but Andrew leads the child to Jesus as in verse 9.
Even in a desperate situation that nothing can be done, when you connect with and meet Jesus, miracles begin from there.
Two fish and five barley loaves are not enough for one child.
But what happens?
Verses 12-13 “After they were satisfied, Jesus said to his disciples, “Gather up the pieces that are left over, and let nothing be wasted.” So when they gathered, they ate five barley loaves and filled twelve baskets of leftover pieces.”
As I read the text, I wondered what kind of parents the child was.
She was a loving mother who guided me to the place where the Word was given and provided a lunch box in case I was hungry.
Ex) Parent's role is important, autonomic nervous system
I was very impressed with the prayer for children that I saw in the essay collection in the past.
Oh Lord!
Make me a better parent.
Love your children, listen patiently to what they have to say.
How to understand your children's troubles with love
Let me be a parent.
Avoid excessive interference, avoid quarrels with children.
Do not disappoint your children with inconsistent behavior.
Just like you want your children to be polite to their parents.
May we also be kind and respectful to our children.
Even as a parent, when you realize you have done something wrong to your child,
bravely confessing their faults
Grant me the courage to ask for forgiveness.
Please do not hurt your children's hearts with useless things.
Seeing your child's mistakes and making them laugh or punish them
Please do not cause me to feel shame and humiliation.
Don't let your children lie and don't covet other people's things.
Help me to be a clean person.
Guide me from time to time, by example by my words and actions, to show clearly that living honestly is the secret to happiness.
Oh Lord!
It rains earnestly, hide my humble appearance
Help me to guard my tongue.
At that age, the children that everyone does
When you see a small mistake
Grant me the generosity to be generous with this.
Children think, judge, and decide for themselves.
Grant me ample opportunity to practice on my own.
to establish parental authority
Help me not to reprove my children.
If what your child wants is right, he will allow everything
If it harms your child
Give me the courage to refuse to the end
Unbiased, always fair, thoughtful,
Let them be loving parents so that their children
May I become a truly respected parent.
To be loved by children and to want them to be like
Please enlighten me so that I can become a parent-like parent.
Oh Lord!
I hope you don't lose your stability and balance
Help me become a parent who can rule.
They say there is no problem.
There are only parents in question.
Researched in the United States.
It was investigated by religious psychologist Dr. Spencer.
This is a survey of the age when you entered the world and experienced God deeply.
In a survey of 1,000 people, 548 people had a mysterious experience before the age of 20.
There were 337 people between the ages of 20 and 30, 96 people in their 30s, and only 15 people who experienced religion in their 40s, and only 4 people who experienced mysticism in their 50s.
The hallmark of a child is innocence.
Bible commentator Matthew Henry deepened his religious experience at the age of 11.
Zinzendolph, who founded the Moravian Church, experienced meeting the mysterious Jesus at the age of four.
Little children are innocent.
So, you can experience faith quickly. Because you have a blank mind.
Yes) My mother's story. Mealtime “Do what you do at home!”
This is the story of the famous revivalist Wilbur Chapman.
One day, while he was going to a revival meeting, a woman from the church he was in charge of came and said:
And tell the mother that her son wants to believe in Jesus.”
When the mother heard that the son's greatest wish was to believe in Jesus, the son raised his blood and cried out.
“It’s like a cursed mother…”
The pastor was surprised and asked what the hell were you talking about. He answered.
“My mother didn’t go to church and played hanbok every day.
And he only taught me how to play hanafuda.
My mother only taught me to play. I got into debt while playing.
He had to embezzle company money to pay off the debt.
That's why I ended up in prison. I am receiving the seeds that my mother sown on me.”
How do you feel?
Life is called a boomerang.
What you sow depends on what you reap.
Children don't imitate what they teach, they imitate what they see.
As we celebrate Children's Sunday, I hope that you will become all of us who lead and set an example for the children God has entrusted to us as an inheritance throughout our lives, not just today.
