Remember you (Deut. 5:15)
Was there ever a time when you were embarrassed because you couldn't remember? Are you shaking your head and punching your head more and more to remember? When you can't remember your name, or you can't remember the password for a document, you'll be embarrassed or even afraid. But first of all, what must we remember?
Remember when you were a servant.
If you do not remember yesterday's suffering, you will experience the same suffering over and over again. The reason why the people of Israel wanted to return to Egypt after heading for Canaan was because they did not remember how miserable their slavery in Egypt was in the past, although the immediate life in the wilderness was difficult. (Exodus 5:7) Yesterday's experience made us feel more We must develop into mature saints. If you properly remember where you were embarrassed and foolish, you will not easily resent today's difficulties. Remember me when I was outside of Christ and me before I received grace. Sometimes I look at albums. Write a diary now to look back on myself this fall as a more mature saint in 10 or 20 years.
Remember God who changed me.
God did not do anything that anyone could do. Think of the arm that reached out to me, and feel the warmth of the hand that was guiding you. God changed my mind and changed my life. You didn't do anything for me! Just because I don't remember doesn't mean I don't have my childhood. You have changed my identity. He has given you the power to become children of God. There is so much more I can do. You have changed my dreams. Success was the goal, and you made me find the reason why I should succeed. It is only when we remember God who changed us, that deep gratitude and praise will come out.
Remember the command (word).
There is a word that only commands us. This is a command only we can do. He forgave those who grieved in their suffering because of their sins and said, “Sin no more.” To those who have received grace, “do good.” Is the command to “do” repay? That's right. If you have received grace, you must live with an attitude of repaying the grace. Also, the command to “do” is accompanied by a promise. Therefore, if we remember God's Word, that is, the promise, we can live a more abundant life.
Find and practice your own law that you can remember. (Deuteronomy 32:7) Indulge yourself in thanksgiving and praise. It couldn't get any better than this.
