Title: Remember, Don't Forget

Contents Bible text: Deuteronomy 25:17-19 Title: Remember ye, do not forget

Deuteronomy 25:17-19.

17 On your way out of Egypt,

Remember what Amalek did to you, 18 when they met you on the road and you were weary.

I hit the weak who fell behind you

You did not fear God. 19 Therefore the LORD your God has given you as an inheritance.

in the land you occupy

May the LORD your God protect you from all the enemies around you.

When he gives you rest, you will not have any respect for Amalek under the heavens.

Erase your memories, don't you forget

Since I took office in January 1984, 2011 is the 28th year.

The love of God and the love of the saints over the past 28 years

I will never forget it for the rest of my life. Looking back on the past, up to the present

If there is one thing that comes to mind when looking at the process, it is the Amalek incident.

If we were to describe our spiritual situation over the past 28 years, it would be “victory in many battles with Amalek.”

You can. The case of Amalek was with the descendants of Amalek the grandson of Esau (Gen. 36:12).

The Israelites wrote this in the battle against the Amalekites in the wilderness of Rephidim.

Exodus 17:8-16.

8 Then Amalek came and fought with Israel at Rephidim. 9 Moses said to Joshua, "Choose men for us and go out.

Fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of a mountain with the staff of God in my hand. 10 Joshua did as Moses had said, and fought against Amalek.

Moses, Aaron, and Shol went up to the top of the mountain. 11 When Moses raised his hand, Israel prevailed, and when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 "Moses's arms were weary, so they took a stone and laid it under Moses.

He made him sit on it, and Aaron and Hur, one on this side, and the other on the other.

And he lifted up Moses' hand, and his hand did not come down until the sun went down." 13 Joshua struck Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword, and defeated them. 14 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this in a book for a memorial.

Memorize it in the ears of Joshua, and I will destroy Amalek.

15 And Moses built an altar and called its name Jehovah Nissi. 16 And he said, The LORD has sworn.

The LORD said, "I will fight with Amalek from generation to generation."

First we need to remember what we did to Amalek.

Verse 17 says, “Remember what Amalek did to you.”

Verse 19 says, “You shall not forget.”

Looking back, it has become something that must be applied both personally and as a church.

This is something to remember. Unbelievable extraordinary things have happened in the past 28 years.

I give glory to God who has experienced it and saw it and made it triumphant.

We must look to the Amalekites of this age.

In 2 Corinthians 2:11, Paul confessed that he was not deceived by Satan.

The reason is said to be because they know the tricks of the devil.

Me and you too, "Don't look at people, look at the devil and Satan behind them."

Without this application, today's Baekseok Church would be

28 years later, I wouldn't have been there.

The fact is that Amalek's disturbance continues even today.

Persistent hindrance in a subtle way until the Lord comes

You have to remember that it goes on.

Therefore, I command that Amalek be blotted out and the seed dried up.

Exodus 17:14 says, "The LORD said to Moses,

Write this in a book for a memorial, and recite it in the ears of Joshua.

I will take away Amalek, that there will be no remembrance under heaven.”

Then you need to know Amalek's challenging tactics.

* When we are tired, we are attacked if we are not careful.

It is human nature to be good at first and then gradually deteriorate.

Therefore, you should always be careful not to get tired as you get older.

Galatians 6:9-10 9 Let us not grow weary in doing good.

If you do not give up, you will reap a harvest in due time. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all.

More should be done to the families of faith. Let's follow Jesus while thinking deeply about Him. Amen

* Also attacks those who fall behind.

A characteristic of negative people is that they hang out from behind.

When Jesus was being arrested, Peter followed at a distance.

Remember and bear in mind that you eventually cursed and denied Jesus.

* Attack the weak.

In the animal kingdom, etc., you can see the weak beasts falling from the herd.

I see wild beasts preying on them.

We need to become strong communities and individuals to achieve our vision of the future.

Finally, we must remember that Jesus came to destroy the devil.

In 1 John 3:8

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil sins from the beginning.

For the Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil.

God, who has led the 28 years, will continue to do so during the remaining 10 years of retirement

I trust you will guide me.

lest my hands go down as Aaron and Shor supported Moses' hands.

We hope that we will become the victors who create a new future through cooperation.

Spiritual Amalekites to be successful in community or personal faith

Do not forget what you have done and have the eyes of spiritual Amalek to not suffer.

I wish you to fight the devil and Satan and move forward with annihilation.
