Title: Remember This 08.hwp

1. The 40 years of the Israelites' life in the wilderness was not just a difficult and gloomy life.

Although their lives were the result of disobedience to God, they could benefit greatly from it. How did Israel benefit from life in the desert? This is also the benefit that believers gain in the midst of suffering, adversity, and discipline.

2. Be humble

Israel's disobedience to God stemmed from their pride. Their refusal to enter Gannaan from Ganesh Barnea was the result of placing more importance on their ability to judge their circumstances than on God's promises. However, after living in a barren and barren wilderness for 40 years, they were able to realize their powerlessness in the face of the natural evil conditions of [desert]. They learned humility before the God who created the desert that gave them their trials.

3. Being trained in obedience

Israel had to constantly cope with the ever-changing desert natural environment. Ultimately, this experience made them train obedience to God. Because obedience to God was the only secret to overcoming the adversity they faced.

4. Experience abundant grace and love

They came to realize how abundant God's grace and love are as the 40 years passed without any lack by the power of God despite the difficult wilderness life. They were able to experience the great truth that overflows with grace in a place where sin increased (Romans 5:20). In other words, they experienced God's abundant grace in the barren natural environment.

5. If we are truly God's people

Sometimes we have to admit that suffering is good for us.

(Psalm 119:71) It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.

It is because through adversity and hardship, we learn more noble lessons and experiences.

(Psalm 119:67) Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word.

Also, we must live a life that does not forget and remember the existence of God and His grace and power.
