Title: Remnant of Jacob

Contents

The children of Esau are the children of darkness, and the children of Jacob are the children of light. The descendants of Esau are the children of the first Adam, and the descendants of Jacob are the children of the last Adam. Esau is natural, and Jacob is spiritual. Therefore, God said, “I have loved Jacob, and I have hated Esau” (Mal. 1:2-3).

God created hate and love together and begat hate and love together. This is to achieve what the end of hate is and what the end of love is. The Bible calls this the judgment child.

Therefore, there are things in the world that God hates, and there are things that God loves. Everything comes from God. It is written, “All things were made through him, and nothing that was made was made without him” (John 1:3). As long as you live, Amen” (Romans 11:36).

That is why God said, “I form light and create darkness; I form peace and create tribulation; I am the Lord, the doer of all these things” (Isaiah 45:7).

The only way for a farmer who cultivates crops to work hard by kneading rotten manure and enduring all kinds of hardships is to gather the wheat that is the bread of life to put in the barn. Rotten and dirty manure is also essential to obtain grain. Therefore, it is written in the scriptures, "The LORD hath made all things for a covering, the wicked for the evil day" (Proverbs 16:4).

God is like a one-time farmer, not to bring in unclean and rotten manure and chaff to be burned into the kingdom of God, New Jerusalem, but only wheat.

Regarding this, the Bible says, “He will take his helm in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering the wheat into the barn, and burning the chaff with unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:12). The kingdom will be taken from you and given to a people that will produce its fruits” (Matthew 21:43).

The people who bear the fruit of that nation are called “sons of Jacob” in the Bible. As it is written, “I, the LORD, do not change; therefore, you children of Jacob, you are not consumed” (Malachi 3:6).

He also testified, “Who is it that will deliver Israel out of Zion, and Jacob will rejoice, and Israel will rejoice when God restores the captivity of his people” (Psalm 53:6). Behold, I will restore the tents of Jacob captive, and have mercy on the dwelling places; the city will be rebuilt on its own hill, and its palaces will become its dwelling places, and a voice of thanksgiving and rejoicing will come out of it. I will multiply them, and they will not banish, and I will glorify them, and they will not be humbled, their descendants will remain, and their congregation will stand before me, and I will punish all who oppress them” (Jeremiah 30:18-20). .

Therefore, the salvation that the Bible speaks of is the salvation of the descendants of Jacob. There are the descendants of Jacob who have already entered his rest, and there are also God's people who will enter his rest, the remnant of Jacob's descendants. These are the descendants of Jacob who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. That's why the Bible says "the remnant of Jacob."

It is written, “The remnant, the remnant of Jacob, shall return to the mighty God” (Isaiah 10:21), and it is written, “The remnant of Jacob shall be among many people, like the dew from the LORD, and like rain on the grass. He will not wait for a man, nor will he wait for a man, and the remnant of Jacob will be among the nations and among the peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flock, and if it passes by, it will trample and tear it, and no one can save it. -8) You did.

Therefore, the remnant of Jacob's descendants will be "like the dew from the Lord, like the rain on the grass, and will not wait for man, nor will they wait for life." The Holy Spirit said, "Do not trust in men, for his breath is in his nostrils, where is it worthy to be numbered?" (Isaiah 2:22) and "Jesus did not entrust his body to them, for He Himself knows all” (John 2:24), so Christ, who is the firstfruits, did not entrust his body to any man.

You remnant of Jacob, who walk the path of a sojourner in this land by the Holy Spirit! Let's not wait for people, let's not wait for life. The Lord Himself will bring out "those who are grieved by the conventions" (Zep 3:18). He Himself said, "...on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it" (Matthew 16:18) Amen, Amen.
