The idea was that if you send interesting photos of newlyweds over 10 years old, from 2 to 10 years old, and newlyweds under 2 years from their honeymoon trip, they will pick it up and give them a present.
I suddenly wanted to see the photos of that time, so I opened the dusty photo album. I looked at the pictures and was surprised by a few things.
First, I wondered if I had ever been that thin. The second question was whether there were days like this for me. It was really good back then.
And now that I have lived for 50 years and 5 more years, I have lived a crazy life. When I look back on the years that have passed, there were many things that I regretted and many things that I regretted. If I had a chance to be born again, I think that I would live a wonderful life.
According to some statistics, women have more regrets about their lives than men. That is why I have a fantastic dream of wanting to be reborn into this world once again.
But it is just a dream that will never come true. It is impossible to be reborn as this physical body once reborn, and even if reborn, human life is not particularly different.
No one in this world is satisfied with their present life. There are many people who feel sorry for their appearance, personality, origin, family, and academic background.
But even if you are born again and be born again, you cannot be completely satisfied with it. Because even hundreds of millions of people in this world were not satisfied with everything they had.
Why? What do you think is the problem? Why do we have to live in endless dissatisfaction with our lives?
The biblical answer to that is that life is all about fallen sinners. That's why it shouldn't be like this.
This is because, no matter how much a sinful life, a fallen life, bears children, you are bound to be a sinner. You can see that everyone is a sinner when you see that everyone dies, regardless of whether the theory is sexual or sexual.
Therefore, a life born with a body that has no choice but to die is inevitably the same life even if you are reborn a hundred times.
Then, is it impossible to achieve the infinite wishes of life: a new life, a happy life, and a life of eternal life? Was it just a dream? Is there any way to do that?
Among the Pharisees, a man named Nicodemus came to Jesus at a quiet time. He was a ruler of the Jews.
He asked a very knowledgeable question.
His words contained a wish for the kingdom of God. I wish for the kingdom of God, but I couldn't face it directly on how to enter it, so I said so.
The Lord knew Nicodemus' thoughts and said.
This is what the Lord meant.
But look at the foolish question of this Nicodemus, who was said to be an intellectual of his time.
The Lord answered without blaming his folly
Jesus knew who this man was to come to him tonight. He was intelligent. He was at the top of society. I mess up. And he was a proud religious man. Nevertheless, that's what you said.
Everyone! If you go to church, you are a member. If you attend a little, you will be baptized, and if you attend for 4-5 years, you become a deacon, and if you work harder, you become an elder or a priest.
If the Lord asks this question, if you do not have solid faith in this, it is a big deal. I pray that all the saints here can confess with confidence.
Who needs to be born again? We believe that the prodigal or morally depraved person must be born again.
But Jesus tells us all must be born again. See verse 6. is that
Therefore, he said that he must be born again. Because without this, you cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Originally, God created man from dust and breathed breath into his nostrils to become a living spirit. A person who has the Spirit of God knows God, rejoices in fellowship with God, and lives according to God's will.
However, as life unilaterally broke the promise with God and sinned, the spirit died. As a dead spirit, you cannot know God, have fellowship with Him, or live according to His will.
I lived according to the desires of the flesh, thinking that I only had to enjoy the body and preserve the body. Therefore, they have been cast away in the sin of being far away from God.
With such a body, you cannot even go near the kingdom of God. Therefore, all life must be born again. If you are not born again, you are truly a pitiful person.
A dead spirit must be born again by the Holy Spirit and confess God as the Father and Jesus the Son as Savior.
So, how can I know if I am born again or not? Is it that I am a man of the flesh? Are you a spirit person? You can find out by checking what you are doing.
It's not that difficult. Let's all search for and look at Romans 8:4-9 together.
Let's look at verse 4 first. It says that we are trying to fulfill the requirements of the law for those of us who follow the Spirit.
Those who have been regenerated in spirit are enabled by the Holy Spirit to live according to the law. If so, you can check whether I am a person who wants to live according to the law.
Let's look at verse 5. Therefore, it is enough to judge whether I am a person who follows the things of the flesh or who thinks about the things of the Spirit.
Let's look at verse 7. Let's judge whether our thoughts are hostile to God or not. You just have to judge whether or not you submit to God's law, that is, the Word.
Let's look at verse 8. Do my thoughts and actions really please God? You can judge it.
Let's look at verse 9. Let's think about whether the Spirit of Christ is in us. You just need to judge whether you are seeking Christ like a mother and always listening to the voice of Christ.
Then he will tell you how to be born again. It's not that difficult. Today's text says:
Water is the word. He said in Ephesians 5:26. Only the Word of God can wash away our dirty conscience and make it clean.
Therefore, when you hear the word that pierces your heart, you need to know it as the word of God that the Holy Spirit gives to your conscience to be born again, receive it well, and repent of your unclean sins.
All I need to do is cut the evil out of my conscience with the sword of God's Word and vomit it out and make Christ my new master.
There is some evidence of when a life was born. First, the pregnant woman herself knows first, and secondly, when the stomach is full, people close to them know. Then, when the baby comes into the world, everyone knows.
In this way, if I believe in Jesus, the life of Jesus has come into me. I know it first. Then the church will know.
And all the Gentiles will know. It is almost certain that the Gentiles also speak.
New people have several characteristics.
First, because we can only live by eating the Word of God as food, we love and adore the Word of God and how much we like it.
Second, I like the house of God. Because it is my father's house. Therefore, those who are born again cherish the church. It means that you will cherish not only the building, but also each and every member of the congregation.
Third, receive God's discipline sweetly. When it comes to raising children, when the parents think they are the best, they embrace them even if they are beaten.
But when it gets a little bigger, I resist. Sometimes they leave the house and don't come in. This is already the time to leave your parents' arms. So is the child you brought with you.
do. Everyone! If we are convinced that God is our Father, we will rather draw closer when the Lord disciplines us. Because he is a born-again person.
Newcomers have privileges.
First, we gain the authority to become children of God. In John 1:12, he said,
Second, if you pray, heaven will help you.
Third, God sends angels to protect them.
Fourth, when we die, we receive the privilege of going to heaven.
Conclusion: Our bodies only grow old once. A lifetime of life is irreversible. You cannot be reborn and live another life.
But with this kind of body, we cannot see the kingdom of God. You must be born again. We must be born again of water and the Holy Spirit. A new born person will live a life in heaven.
You can live a spiritual life while eating spiritual food with the word of God. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will receive and enjoy the wonderful blessings given to those who are born again.
