Title: Resentment calls for wrath
Text: Num 11:1
Hymns: 368, 332, 184.
(Numbers 11:1) And when the people heard the LORD, they grumbled with evil words; when the LORD heard it, he became angry, and the fire of the LORD was kindled among them and consumed the ends of the camp.
"He who lives with a lot of resentment also lives with a lot of anger," said the Chinese author Hui Mann. What about those who forgot the great grace of God who sent Moses to set the people of Israel free from slavery in Egypt and complained about them when they left Egypt?
1. Blaming God with evil words.
The psalmist says that they have sinned continually against God, and have betrayed the Most High in the wilderness. They sought food according to their greed, and in their hearts they condemned God. Rather than thanking God for the grace he had prepared for giving them freedom and welfare in Canaan, who became slaves in Egypt, it was the Israelites who resented it.

2. God is angry.
Therefore, the psalmist says, the LORD has heard and is angry, and wrath is fierce against Jacob, and wrath has risen against Israel, because they do not believe in God and do not rely on his salvation. God was angry with those who neglected God's salvation and experienced God's wonders and miracles.

3. The fire of Jehovah comes down.
The psalmist said that our youth was burned with fire, and that our virgins had no wedding song. Paul said that some of them grumbled, but were destroyed by the destroyer. Do not grumble like them. These things that happened to them were recorded as a warning for us when we met the last days. neck
