Title: Reserved for Distribution (Proverbs 10:13-21)
Contents Excessive enthusiasm for education of modern parents! It's a world where a three-year-old kid has to go to a private academy.
Piano academy, art academy, taekwondo dojo, Jusan academy, nursery school, kindergarten, etc. There are a lot of people there.
Not just when I was young.
Even while attending school, this kind of tutoring continues.
How are you going to learn so much?
1, there is wisdom in the lips.
Since there are so many people teaching and learning a lot, it seems like there will be a lot of versatile superstars in the world, but our situation is the exact opposite.
Simply put, it means that you can't use what you've learned properly.
Look at the number of subjects learned over the 17 years of 5 years before entering school, 6 years of public school, and 6 years of middle school, even leaving graduate school and college aside.
how many
But how many good things are you using in your life?
It is said that a life like that was made because of them, but in reality, if many of them could be used in life, it would have been made even better.
However, in reality, it is not fully utilized in daily life.
Does something like that happen?
People have been given knowledge, but it is because they do not have the wisdom to use that knowledge in their daily life.
In the Bible, there is a word for knowledge and there is also a word for wisdom.
Sometimes knowledge and wisdom are used interchangeably, but their original meaning is slightly different.
Commonly, the word “knowledge” refers to all things we know, and the word “wisdom” refers to the ability to use that knowledge correctly in our lives.
Therefore, having a lot of knowledge does not necessarily mean that you have a lot of wisdom.
In particular, if we look at the field of Yojieum education, it can be said that it is education for knowledge only.
In other words, they are pouring their energy into education for entrance exams.
It is also a fact that the world has developed rapidly thanks to that.
People's knowledge cannot remain only around us and has now become universal knowledge.
Things we could not have imagined before are making our eyes suspicious day by day.
But, if you catch a teacher who has given you such valuable knowledge, don't you shave your head, don't beat him, don't break your piece and imprison him...
The same goes for social life.
Even standing in line at a public phone box is scary now.
Example: politely say "one more call" ....
It's not that all teenagers these days are like that, but seeing our Annies, who are getting worse day by day, gives me goosebumps.
Because no one is smart.
Because there is no wise man.
See verse 13.
"In the lips of the understanding there is wisdom..."
Teachers Teachers------------Do you think you were called to be teachers for what reason and why?
Is it simply to instill in the students the knowledge of the Bible?
no.
You are here to do what families cannot do today.
You are here to do what the modern school cannot do.
You teachers and teachers are there, not for knowledge, but for wisdom through the Word of God.
Proverbs 4:7 "Wisdom is the first, so be wise, and in whatever you have obtained, take your understanding."
In order for us to fulfill our mission as teachers, we must first gain understanding and wisdom.
As the text says, you must have wisdom in your lips.
2, keep knowledge.
Verse 14 "The wise keep knowledge, but..."
The text says that in order to be a prudent man with wisdom on his lips, he must retain knowledge.
The knowledge here refers to the knowledge of the living Word that surpasses the knowledge of the world.
2 Timothy 3:15 “And from your youth you have known the Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”
The wisdom to save mankind, who is heading for evil, is not found in the school, and the way to save people is not in the home, but in the Bible, the Word of God.
Again, the Bible does not teach the knowledge of science.
They don't teach politics.
It does not teach knowledge of economics.
Do not teach the world knowledge.
The Bible, the Word of God, enables us to use all of our knowledge correctly and gain wisdom that leads to salvation.
Job 28:28 says, "The fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding."
To say that you are not wise is to say that you are foolish.
Because of what they have learned, they are living foolishly because of what they have learned.
Psalm 53:1, “The fool says in his heart, There is no God.”
1 Corinthians 1:24 says, “Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
And Christ Jesus, who is wisdom itself, said, "Therefore, whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who builds his house upon a rock."
Then wisdom knowledge speaks the words of Christ Jesus.
The writer of Proverbs says to be one who keeps these words.
So how do you get this kind of wisdom?
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”
To retain wisdom knowledge, to become a God-fearing person, to become a follower of the words of Christ Jesus, one must be a prayerful person.
3, educate others.
Verse 21, “The lips of the righteous educate many, but fools die for lack of knowledge.”
The news these days is full of murder cases.
Robbery, Rape, Murder, Unlin's Kidnapping, Murder, Ballroom Gangsters Murder, Payphone Box Murder...
People are clamoring for the people who have committed this horrific thing to be caught and killed on the spot.
They say they should never be left alive.
But what if the precious Lamb of the Lord we are teaching had died foolishly because he did not have the knowledge of God...
The child in my class...
<< Not all lessons and presentations are good for battleships. >>
The Bible says that wise people are righteous, and that only wise people can educate others.
Matthew 24:45 says this.
“Who is the faithful and wise servant, who will give his master over his household, and give him food in due season?”
Verse 46: “Blessed is the servant when his master comes and finds him doing this.
Verse 47: “Truly, I say to you, the master will entrust all that he has to him.”
Dear teachers!---------------------You must be servants of the good Lord.
You must be faithful servants of the Lord.
You should be especially wise servants of the Lord.
Amen
