Title: Restoration of the Family (Psalm 127)
In May, the month of the family, a movie called "Marriage Is Crazy" and a movie called "Home" was released together. And fortunately, the report that the movie "Home" was a box office success gives some relief. Because the family is so important. A household is something that has an almost absolute influence on a person's life. However, the phenomenon of family destruction is clearly visible in many parts of our society today. The divorce rate is soaring and juvenile crime is becoming more and more violent.
1. A home is precious.
The family is a gift that God has given to mankind as a gift of blessing. In God's creation, the last thing He created is the family. God entrusted all of Eden to Adam, but Adam was not happy. When God gave him Eve as a wife and started a family, he was happy. Jesus also performed his first patriarchal ministry at a wedding feast in Cana, where his family was held. Because you valued your family.
2. The home must be restored.
God's blessings often come through families. Therefore, we need to restore our family to a family of blessing according to the original purpose of creation. No, it has to be restored. This is because the family cannot be restored by human strength or effort. The family of blessing must be restored and established by God who created the family. The text says, 'Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain'. The true restoration and happiness of the family comes from the presence and help of Jehovah in our homes.
3. Families are restored when they are built on faith and the Word.
If you want to build a family like the spring breeze blowing in all four seasons, above all else, the foundation of your family must be the faith to serve God, the creator of your family, as your master. Also, the order of the family must be maintained according to the law of God's Word. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right (Ephesians 6:1) And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4) As to the Lord (Ephesians 5:22) Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her” (Ephesians 5:25).
