Title: Restore Your Children's Authority

John 1:12-13
bsp; Today we are worshiping with Holy Communion. The Lord's Supper is the rite of the cross that Jesus personally instituted and commanded while he had the last meal with his disciples on the night of his arrest. Through this Holy Supper, we bring the grace of the cross 2000 years ago to the field of our lives today. The grace that started there at that time becomes the grace that comes into my soul today. The Lord said at that time.
bsp; He took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying,
bsp; Take and eat, this is my body.
bsp; He also took the cup, gave thanks and gave it to them, saying,
bsp; Drink this, all of you, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.
bsp; My blood, the blood of the covenant. Matthew 26:26-28
This Eucharist transcends time and leads us down to the cross. It puts us in front of that grace. Therefore, anyone who has faith and participates in this bread and cup at any time will receive the grace of the cross of the Lord and participate in the covenant.
The grace we receive through the Lord's Supper is grace. Receiving the forgiveness of sins and restoring a clean soul again is the very grace of Imadmura.
bsp; To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
bsp; It was not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man.
bsp; Only those who are born of God. John 1:12-13
The most precious grace received by those who believe and accept Jesus as their Savior is the authority to become a child of God. It is the authority to become a child of God by becoming a child of God, not a child of the flesh, born of blood or of the flesh.
However, it cannot be denied that we lived in the world as if we did not know Jesus, as if there was only the world. This is a loss of authority. The grace that we receive when we come to church on Sunday is the very first birth. It is given through worship. It is especially given through the Lord's Supper.
What is the authority?
First, God's authority is the authority to receive and enjoy God's love.
bsp; God's authority is the authority to receive and enjoy the love of God the Father.
Luke 15:11-24 He spoke of that love through the parable of the prodigal son. A father's great love for accepting his son as he is after squandering his father's wealth is a power that no one else can enjoy because it is given only to his children. This is a verse that vividly expresses the love of a father.
bsp; He was still a long way off, but when his father saw him, he had compassion on him, and ran, hugged him and kissed him...
In fact, we are still far from our father. Our faith is really bad. Our dedication is insignificant. Our prayers are formal. Our love is only words. We are still a long way away. Still, my father runs. I hug my son when he comes back. I don't ask about wasting property. So far, I haven't asked for a fuss. I don't even ask about wasting time. He rejoices and hugs him just by turning to his father. My father accepts me as I am when I am hurt by the world, tired of living and ill in difficult years. That is God's love. All children of God receive this love. The reason is that God is the Father, and he gives authority to those who believe in his name.
Second, God's authority is the authority to enjoy abundant blessings from God.
bsp; When God's children live in the world, it is natural to ask God for what is lacking and weak. This is not ups and downs. Rather, that is what it means to enjoy authority. If you are unable to find your own difficulties, pains, problems, or lack in spite of receiving authority, you do not enjoy authority. God is rather displeased with such children. Don't you know that I have the ability to solve problems? How can you go somewhere else to find a solution? I am your father, I am the key to the problem, I am the way, and I am the source of blessing.
Therefore, if you do not pray, you are losing your authority. I close my mouth to my father and live as I please. Prayer is the enjoyment of authority. May you receive the blessings that God, who is rich, pours out without measure. That's what a Christian looks like. I bless you to become the children of God who have the authority to enjoy this blessing.
Third, the authority of God is the authority to inherit the kingdom of God.
bsp; After Adam and Eve, sinful human beings lost their eternity. It has become an existence outside of paradise, where we have no choice but to live within the limits of time. But through the grace of Jesus, eternity was restored again. To all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave the firstborn children of God. The authority to inherit and enjoy the kingdom of God, that is the authority.
What does it mean to be saved? Going to church does not mean lighthearted. It means to restore lost eternity. It means to restore lost life. It means becoming the owner of the eternal kingdom of God.
Jesus said.
bsp; Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me
bsp; has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:24
The authority of God is the authority to inherit the kingdom of God. I bless you as believers who have faith and enjoy this authority in hope.
?쏷o all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.??The authority to receive God's love, the authority to enjoy God's abundant blessings, the authority to inherit the kingdom of God, this is the authority of God.
We, the children of God, are engrossed in the world and have forgotten that authority. I hope that today will be a time of blessing for the firstborn through the Holy Communion. It is God's grace and love that, like the prodigal son, left the father's arms and went our own way. Blessed be the saints who live the life of a true Christian by participating in the Lord's Supper with faith.
