Title: Resurrection, as a Spiritual Body

Contents

<The four differences between the present body and the resurrection body>

After referring to the various bodies and their glory, Paul

Verses 42-44 declare this:

“So is the resurrection of the dead.

Sowed in perishable / raised in imperishable

Sowed in dishonor / raised in glory

Sow with weakness / Live with strength

It is sown in a physical body and is raised in a spiritual body.

There is a physical body, and there is also a spiritual body."

The body when we will be resurrected will be different from the body we have today.

It is to become an incomparably glorious and holy body.

Not all bodies are the same.

The body of every beast, the body of birds, the body of fish,

The body of the sun, the body of the moon, the body of the stars, etc.

And the glory is different.

Our body after the resurrection also becomes a body with a completely different nature.

Transformed into a glorious body that cannot be compared with the current body

will be,

The apostle Paul makes four sharp contrasts.

First, it is sown as 'perishable' and revived as 'imperishable'.

Our present body will decay in the future, but

The resurrected body will not perish.

Second, planting as 'dishonorable'

It comes back to life as 'glorious'.

Our present body is lowly and disgraceful,

The resurrected body will be filled with splendid glory.

Third, plant it as 'weak' and plant it as 'powerful'.

comes alive again.

Our present body is weak.

It is a fragile body that can be easily broken by even a slight bump like a clay vessel.

Accidents and diseases are common, and it is a very weak body.

But the resurrected body is as strong as tin and will never fall.

Fourth, planting as a 'physical body',

It comes back to life as a 'spiritual body'.

This fourth contrast can be seen as a summary of all three of the above-mentioned contrasts.

Now our body is a 'psychikon soma,' that is, a 'physical body'.

As a natural body dominated by mind and body,

It is the body of the rotten, profane, weak and limited earth that cannot but be experienced.

But in the future we will be resurrected and transformed

'pneumatikon soma,' that is, 'spirit body', 'spirit body'.

The resurrected body is a fragile and fragile body in which the body and mind rule over us.

Not a limited body, but the Spirit of God,

That is, as a spiritual body ruled by the Holy Spirit.

It is a glorious and strong heavenly body that never perishes.

Seen here, the four contrasts are 'sowing' and 'harvesting'.

is expressed as

Seeds, or grains, are planted so that there is clearly a homogeneity of life

As if harvesting a fruit of a completely different form and of a different nature

So will our resurrection.
