━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Christianity has faith in the resurrection. Resurrection is the idea of the kingdom of God. Although it is in contrast to the kingdom of this world, which has a temporal belief until death, the kingdom of God is not only in the future, but also in the historical, socio-cultural situation of this world today. means.
Christianity emphasizes the belief in the resurrection because it sets the standard for judging values in all secular fields such as human politics, economy, and culture on the eternal truth, justice, and love of God. It is to put our country's political and social norms in the unchanging kingdom of God in the changing circumstances of the times. It is not a social policy that says it is enough to die, but a policy that focuses on God's eternal judgment and social salvation.
Although the kingdom of man illegally kills people, the political economy is based on the belief in the resurrection that the kingdom of God brings people back to life (Acts 2:23-24). It is expected that it will be reflected in the policy for
First, God is always an important factor in the human situation.
People think about the various factors in the human situation, but forget the most important factor the power and love of God. This is the same for individuals, families, societies, and countries.
Even Moses, the great leader of ancient Israel, was well aware of the powerful conditions set forth by the Egyptian king, which made it very difficult to free his people from slavery, but did not realize the factors of God's power and love. The mighty military power of Egypt, the political power of the Egyptian king, and the rich economic power were highly evaluated, but God's power was not taken into account. However, Moses was able to liberate and save his people through God's ten plagues after that.
Jesus' disciples also did not remember the factors of God's power and love in the situation of the cross on Friday, and were scattered all over the place to avoid persecution by the powerful.
In today's context, we see a similar phenomenon. However, in any case, the faith of the resurrection never forgets not only the human factors but also the divine factors, making us believe, depend and expect. In the face of any difficulties and unjust political and economic circumstances, leaders should find God's situation working through human circumstances through the faith of resurrection and pray with confidence while waiting for God's judgment and help for salvation.
Second, God intervenes in human historical circumstances.
Countries established by man make history of corruption due to personal political ambition and economic greed, but God leads human history to salvation. God's intervention in human history is not only salvation for the righteous, but also judgment for the wicked.
Psalm 124 is a pilgrim song. "Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth." A stranger's life is a song of thanksgiving and victory that praises God's intervention in human history. This is a song of hope from the resurrection faith.
While witnessing the resurrection of Jesus, Peter declared the resurrection of God revealed to mankind. Peter's testimony was to proclaim God's righteous historical intervention in unrighteous human rule.
God has intervened in the history of our country as well. In the midst of the persecution of Japanese imperialism, God intervened in history by bringing liberation to our people. In the ignorant ideological confrontation and subordinate political situation by powerful powers, God intervened in history through division of the nation and judgment of kinship. Even in the midst of corruption, corruption, and military dictatorship, God intervened and opened the way for democratization and peaceful reunification of the nation.
Man destroys, but God 'makes all things new'. Resurrection faith affirms God's intervention in history. The righteous who believe in this resurrection faith will wait patiently for God's salvation, but the wicked who do not believe will fear God's judgment.
Third, the final word is always from God.
Human words cannot be the final decision. The final decision is made by God. Only God's judgment determines the end of life. Therefore, you should not end your life with a human ultimatum or decision. No matter how strong and terrifying human power is, one must not give up on life. There is God's final judgment.
No matter how weak human strength is, we should not fall into despair or be disappointed by the conclusion that it is the last. Because it is God who decides the end of life. Decisions made by unrighteous human rulership cannot make humans eternal sinners. Even if an unrighteous man's ruling power puts him to death, it is not an eternal judgment. This is because the final judgment of the eternal justice of God remains.
Pilate gave the final word that Jesus was condemned to death. The spectators around the burial site threw the last ridicule of swearing that Jesus could not save himself. However, there was God's final victory, saying, "God made life from the pain of death, for he could not be bound by death."
A synagogue leader named Jairus made the final judgment that his young daughter had fallen ill and died, and gave up hope and hope for a cure. But Jesus said, "No," and raised the girl to life.
Resurrection is believing that the final judgment and salvation belong to God and entrusting everything to Him.
We should not decide our final destiny by entrusting the kingdom and politics to human plans or actions, but entrusting it to the God of power and love who is the 'Lord of the kingdom, power and glory', and we must live in the faith of the resurrection. . We must think and work reverently and honestly, believing in the truth of God intervening in unrighteous human history, and the final victory of justice and love.
“God hath healed the pain of death, and made him alive, for he could not be bound by death” (Acts 2:24).
