Title: Resurrection Life/Romans 8:1-2
Content Sermon Title The Resurrection Life
Scripture Romans 8:1-2
A new spring is the beginning of a new life. At this time when the bright flower buds praised God's great grace, the dark tomb was broken, and our Lord broke the power of death and rose again. I pray that the Lord will fill the hearts, families, churches, nations and peoples of the saints who praise the joy of resurrection with the power, blessings, and grace of the resurrection.
1. It is a life of victory that casts off the yoke of sin. (Verse 2)
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.” “The law of the Spirit of life” is the gospel. The gospel is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross. Therefore, all who believe in the resurrected Jesus Christ can take away all the yokes of suffering that bind us to sin and set them free completely.
In the region of Gerasea, those possessed by a demon lived among the tombs without clothes, and when they were tied with chains and furrows they cut them off. The man who had gone mad met Jesus, and when the army devil left, he was healed and preached the gospel with joy (Luke 8:26 -36) Saints! Through the meeting of the resurrected Lord, “Now you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness” (Romans 6:18,22), so we must be saints who praise and praise. “It is said from God that every child born of God does not sin (1 John 5:18), and He said that the child born of God will protect him, and the evil one cannot touch him. Only through the merits of the cross of Jesus can we solve the pain and suffering of sin that nothing else in the world can break. That is why it is said, “The man of Christ Jesus has crucified his passions and reproaches” (Galatians 5:24). The protagonist of a new life is to bury the old man according to the old customs under the cross of the Lord and live with the Lord of resurrection with new joy and thanksgiving. This is the life of the resurrection, and I believe that victory and blessings will be full of him.
2. It is a life freed from death and destruction. (Verse 2)
He said that we were set free from the law of sin and death. Since the wages of sin is death, death can be said to be the result of sin. Death means eternal destruction. Kiergegol said that “death is despair” and that no one can overcome the wall of death. However, Jesus broke the chains of death and said, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, lives” (John 11:25).
Because we know death as the end of all things, the most terrifying fear is death. However, since death has already departed from those of us who believe in Jesus Christ and live in Him, we can live in the world with joy and thanksgiving and boldness, and living that way is the life of resurrection. Just as the work of new life began on a bare tree branch during the winter, I hope that the resurrection life that gives hope to a frustrated and barren world and overflows with new life that is refreshed will continue for the saints. Even if the world is darkened by various circumstances, circumstances, and conditions, we believe that the lives of our saints who are freed from death and destruction will have a history of overflowing with new hope. “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). I hope that you will overcome death with the Lord who overcomes the world, always rejoice, and live a strong and courageous life.
3. It is the life in heaven that has gained eternal life. (Verse 1)
“There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” he said. The word condemnation means judgment and judgment. Those who live the life of resurrection in the Lord do not stand before God's judgment seat, but have already obtained eternal life (John 3:16), and the kingdom of heaven is mine. Although we live on this earth, it is said that our citizenship is already in heaven (Philippians 3:21), so we obtained eternal life and became citizens of the kingdom of heaven. I believe you will
So, the resurrection life is the life of the old man who follows the old customs, dying and being governed with God, doing what God wants, and giving thanks with joy. They are the saints, a group separated from those who live in the world and live in harmony with the world. Resurrection is the life of the kingdom of heaven where you overcome the daily trials and temptations of Satan with the word of God and live under the guidance of God. Heaven is a place that God has completely prepared for the future. But even on this earth, he said that the kingdom of God will be fulfilled in the lives of those who live anew in Jesus Christ (Luke 17:21). He said that if you follow Satan with the power of the Holy Spirit, the kingdom of God has already been established (Matthew 12:28). The kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy given by the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). Even if there are no cattle in our sheep and stalls and no crops on the vines, olive trees, and fig trees, we will rejoice and rejoice in God (Habakkuk 3:17,18). I want you to enjoy the blessing of eternal life.
I'm about to finish my talk.
I hope that you will become saints who meet the risen Lord and live a life of resurrection with the power and grace of Easter. Abraham was able to sacrifice Isaac because he had faith in the resurrection. (Hebrews 11:19) Therefore, he became the father of faith, and the Shunammite woman also had faith in the resurrection, so she raised her dead son to life (2 Kings 4:18-36). It is a life of joy that overcomes and is freed from suffering, a life of bold power that overcomes the power of death, and a life of resurrection that achieves eternal life and a life in heaven on earth. May the blessings always be with you in your life.
