Title: Resurrection of Christ
Most people don't take it seriously because the afterlife cannot be an experience. In particular, Buddhists who believe in reincarnation are not interested in proof of the resurrection of Christianity. The purpose of the Buddhists is to liberate them from the world of no lust and no lust, so there is no choice but to do so. But when we look at our universal life, it is understood that the Resurrection is deeply missed in the human heart and has a vague illusion that it would be good to live forever. (Let's make our friendship last forever~?).
1. The Resurrection of Christ
The etymological meaning of resurrection (復活, ajnavstasi", spirit, Resurrection) is to rise again, and its actual content is that the human body is regenerated into an eternally immortal body.
Luke 24:42-43 "Then he offered him a piece of grilled fish, and he took it and ate it before him."
John 20:19 "On that day, the first evening after the Sabbath, when the doors were shut where the disciples had gathered for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle, saying, "Peace be with you" (Acts 11: Ascension, universe, and space)
1 Corinthians 15:20 "But now Christ has risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of them that slept" (The firstfruits of the resurrection that the saints will receive in the future)
2. Christian Resurrection
Jesus himself explained the fundamental purpose of God's love for the world and sending his Son for salvation (John 3:16).
John 6:40 “For my Father’s will is that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 11:25 Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me will live, even if he dies.” For this reason, unlike other religious leaders, there were three instances in the Bible of Jesus raising the dead directly while He was on the earth.
Daughter of Jairus (Mark 5:35-43), son of a widow (Luke 7:12-15), Lazarus (John 11:39, 40, 44) Saints who were buried at the time of Jesus' death (Matthew 27:52, 53) Dorcas (Acts 9:36-40; Peter), Eutychus (Acts 20:9-12; Paul)
Of course, such a rebirth would cause the body to die once again. Or, in the Old Testament times, Nenoch and Elijah were taken to heaven without death (Genesis 5:24, 2 Kings 2:11), but when Jesus returns (the end of the world), they will all be resurrected with eternal life.
In John 5:29, “those who have done good deeds will come to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment”, it is said that unbelievers will also be resurrected. Also, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I tell you a secret, we will not all sleep, but at the last trumpet we will all be changed in an instant. At the sound of the trumpet, the dead will live incorruptibility, and we will be changed.”
Some people who say they have seen heaven explain it as an extension of their earthly life, but this is not the case. Matthew 22:30 “In the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like the angels in heaven.” has a body and is not married)
3. The Effect of Faith in the Resurrection
Those who believe and live according to the Bible that they will rise from the dead and live forever (John 20:31) will have very different emotions from unbelievers even according to their values of life.
1) You can overcome the hardships of the world
1 John 5:4 "For everyone who is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. Who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" (from sin and death)
1 Corinthians 15:17 “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is in vain, and you are still in your sins.”
If you believe in the resurrection and eternal life, you can overcome the pain caused by greed, envy, jealousy, pride, and frustration in the world. It is also characteristic of those who see the future.
The Puritans, who were persecuted in England and had to leave by boat for freedom of religion, did not go to the present-day America, but because they longed for the eternal kingdom of God. They had a lot of trouble, but they were tolerant. It is the effect of faith in the resurrection and eternal life.
2) Make the history of life
Christianity has contributed to the development of many cultures in the world for two thousand years. The spirit of faith given by the Bible did so. The same is true of Korea's flowering and economic development. The Bible promised the work of life based on the resurrection and eternal life. Miracles and blessings will happen.
Shakyamuni went to the mountain and abandoned the world. Jesus resurrected from the earth and did the work of life until now. The resurrection of Christ is indeed the hope of our lives! There is no reason to reject the teachings of Jesus. We welcome anything, believe in it, and let's win!
