The word revival means to renew what is withered and withered. God's people who know God's love and believe in Jesus and are saved from their sins must grow in their faith, change their character, and receive blessings in their lives. Humans need revival. All believers must live a new life of revival every day.
The time of revival has the present nature of right now.
In verse 12 it is written, “You are now”. Revival is not a thing of the past, nor is it something to be postponed to the future. Now is the right time for revival. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
Revival tells you to return to yourself with all your heart.
Verse 12 says, “Return to me with all your heart.” God looks at the heart of man. He said, “Rend your hearts, not your clothes.” This is “repentance.” Repentance is the Greek word for “metanonia,” which means to change your mind, thoughts, and actions.
Revival is what God calls us to gather in a holy meeting.
On the day of Pentecost, when 120 believers gathered in Mark's upper room to pray, God poured out the Holy Spirit. When the villagers gathered in the centurion's family, Cornelius, he gave the fire of the Holy Spirit. When the children who were sleeping in the Philippian jailer's house were awakened and gathered, God's grace was poured out.
Revival is weeping and praying to God.
Prayer with tears is a prayer that longs for God's grace with a sincere and humble heart. God sees the tears of the saints. Tears offered to God make a great work.
In the new year, God has prepared a revival for us.
God has decided to give a new revival to the church, family, individual, workplace, and school. He told us to know that today is the first week of the new year and now is the time to receive grace and revive. And he told us to weep and pray. At that time, God has a burning heart and compassion for His people. He will give you grain and new wine and oil, and you will give him the early and the latter rain, and he will pour out his sand like water.
Dear saints, I hope you get back what you lost. Jehovah will give us joy.
I hope that the new grace that God pours out in 2009 overflows over you and your family.
