Title: Revival of Worship

Bible Text: Zep 3:14-17

revival of worship

“O Lord, may your work revive within these years” (Habakkuk 3:2), is the prayer of the prophet Habakkuk. Revival means ‘to rise again’ or ‘to rise again’. Resurrection of God's work is the revival of the Lord's work.

Worship is the work of those who believe in God. Through worship, we experience God's work and God's work for us. Worship must first glorify God, and believers who are worshipers must receive grace.

“Sing, O daughter of Zion; sing for joy, Israel; Rejoice, O daughter of Jerusalem, rejoice with all your heart” (verse 14).

The daughters of Zion, Israel, and Jerusalem are all worshiping people as God's people. This is God's request for them.

Let's sing! Call for joy! Rejoice and rejoice with all your heart!

Worship that removes punishment

“The Lord has taken away your punishment” (verse 15).

It is the removal of punishment from God. Jesus was punished instead.

God spoke through Isaiah.

“He truly suffered the pain we deserve, and the sorrow we deserve. But we thought that he would be punished, beaten by God, and suffered. But he was pierced for our transgressions, and he was wounded for our wickedness.

By his punishment we had peace, and by his beatings we were healed” (Isaiah 53:4-5).

Christians are free men freed from the condemnation of the law.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2).

Our worship is the worship of Jesus Christ as a sacrifice. God accepted the Son's body as a sacrifice and said, "The Lord has taken away your punishment."

“…he gave himself as a ransom for us” (Galatians 1:4). It is believing that the body of Christ Jesus paid for our punishment.

The revival of worship is to satisfy God's demands. God’s request, who saved us through his only begotten Son, is “… you will never fear woe again” (verse 15b) “…do not let your hand hang down, O Zion” (verse 16). You don't want to be powerless. Even if it's sad, lonely, sick, hard, or painful, it's to be happy. is to sing. is to call. Rejoice with all your heart! This is the demand for those whose punishment has been removed.

“I have removed your punishment” The word “removed” means that it has been removed. that has been wiped out. “...a branch that does not bear fruit, the Father takes away it, and every branch that bears fruit he purifies so that it may bear more fruit” (John 15:2).

We prune unfruitful branches through worship. The Father removes the branches that do not bear fruit. The fruit-bearing branches are trimmed to produce more fruit.

During worship, God takes care of us. We connect with Jesus, who became life, during worship, bear fruit, and rejoice.

We sing to God the Father because of the grace we have received. Praise God the Son with joy. Rejoice and rejoice in God the Holy Spirit. This is the revival of worship. Worshipers save worship.

Worship to drive out enemies

The Lord said, “You have cast out your enemies” (in verse 15). It means that the Lord has driven out the enemy. The moment the light comes in, the darkness is cast out.

Who is the enemy? who harms me. The one who makes me stumble, the one who seeks my faith and my life is the enemy. Casting out the enemy is the revival of worship.

David said, “I will trust in God, and I will sing praises to his words; I will trust in God, and I will not fear. What can flesh and blood do to me?” (Psalm 56: 2,4) did.

The enemy is both outside and inside. The enemy in your chest is terrifying.

We must drive out the enemies in Ana through worship. If you worship, God will drive you out.

Without desire, there is no progress. But greed is the enemy. Greed is a sick desire. If you embrace greed, you will fall.

Lewdness and debauchery are enemies. It destroys both individuals and families.

Hate and anger are enemies. To hate is a mental murder.

Envy and jealousy are your enemies. If you want to paint someone else's face, you must first get your hands dirty. Envy and jealousy bring anxiety and pain.

Lies are the enemy. When a person lies, he perishes. The devil is a liar. The devil is said to be the father of lies (John 8:44).

Disease is your enemy. Uhwan is said to be a thief. God wants us to be healthy.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2). Be free from sickness and be healthy! We hope that you will receive spiritual blessings during the worship service and that you will be able to defeat the enemies of disease.

Poverty and curses are enemies. If you only hear the word of God and put it into practice, you will surely be blessed, and there will be no poor among you (Deuteronomy 15:4-5).

“And you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that while he was rich, for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).

He forgave us our sins and moved us from death to life, from poverty and curses to a world of grace and blessing. May you enjoy peace and prosperity by driving away your enemies. This is the revival of worship.

Worship that puts God at the center

“The LORD, the King of Israel, is in the midst of you...” (verse 15). “The Lord your God is ‘in the midst of you,’ the Almighty who will save…” (verse 17).

The revival of worship is worship that brings God to the place of God. Those who have treated God like a stranger will serve as the throne. I make my heart the throne of God. It is to present my body as the temple of God.

“Lift up your heads, you gates; lift up your heads, you eternal gates; the King of glory enters in. Who is the King of glory? The LORD mighty and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle; lift up your heads, you gates, and lift up your heads, you eternal gates, lift up the glory. The King of righteous will come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of hosts is the King of glory” (Psalm 24:7-10).

If you serve Jehovah, who is mighty in war, as your king, you will win the war. If you serve as the King of Glory, you will receive glory. You will be saved from all disasters. “You will never fear woe again.” If you make him king, he gives you courage. You have a belief system that you can do it.

When my son said he wanted to go to the Marines, the father said, “People with weak physical strength like you cannot join the Marines. My son wanted to show that he was not weak, so he applied. I received a notification of acceptance and enlisted. A letter from the father came to the son who was training with his teeth. “Son, what I said to you before was not because of your physical strength, but because of my weakness. You can do it well. I am now a Marine Corps father.”

Parents are happy when their children are proud. We must make God our Marines Father. The victory of children is the joy of parents. A child's success is a parent's happiness. It is the parents who pray and push for their sons and daughters to be happy.

A filial son pleases parents, and a believer pleases God. “…He will not rejoice over you; he will keep his love over you; he will rejoice over you with singing and rejoicing” (verse 17).

God must not curse because of me. God should not suffer because of what I say. “Jerusalem will be my joy, and the people who live there will be my joy, and there will be no more weeping or wailing in her” (Isaiah 65:19).

There is a saying, “A sister is good and a brother-in-law is good”. Worship must first glorify God. God must rejoice. Worshipers should also rejoice.

“I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, and my soul will rejoice in my God, because he has put on me the robe of salvation and added to me the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears yearnings and a bride adorns her treasures” 61:10)

The revival of worship is when God rejoices over the daughters of Zion and the daughters of Zion rejoices over God.

We are free from punishment. God has broken the yoke of sin. You cast out your enemies in the name of Jesus.

May you be happy with the Lord God, the King of Israel, in your heart.

see! I will always be with you to the end of the world! (Matthew 28:20)
