Title: Revival Worship

Bible: Neh 8:1-6

2007.9.23. day

Nehemiah completed the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days.

How many evil satanic saboteurs in the meantime? In particular, Sanbalnath, Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian made all kinds of slander, obstruction, and even tried to kill them, but Nehemiah never stopped and mobilized all the people vigorously to finally rebuild the wall in 52 days.

When we do God's work, there is always the work of evil Satan. But great leaders don't stop doing it. We must believe in the power of God who is working behind the scenes and move forward. Nehemiah is a great leader in that regard.

And finally, the wall was completed in 52 days, and all the people gathered to worship God. At this time, we are filled with the Holy Spirit and filled with the glory of God.

1. First, we need to break down the walls of our hearts and shrink them.

“When the work of the wall came to an end on the twenty-fifth day of the month of Elul, which was fifty-two days later, when all our enemies and the Gentiles around them heard this, they were afraid and were greatly discouraged, because they knew that our God had accomplished this work.”

That's right. I must shrink the walls of my heart. If our hearts are broken, we cannot offer true worship.

What caused the walls to be demolished?

1) First of all, it's because I haven't been managing it for a long time. Even if my heart is stained with the world, even if the evil devil comes and casts a net, I just do it without knowing it. When we neglect our hearts because it is too difficult to live in the world, the temple of our hearts collapses.

2) And it is because we left the small collapse as it is. We need to stop and repair the small defects of the temple of our heart, but if we do well next time and leave it as it is, it will collapse rapidly.

Therefore, dear saints!

First of all, please rebuild the temple of your broken heart. There will be all sorts of obstacles. Redefine the cares of the world, the temptations of wealth, and all the wrong places of relationships. The evil Satan does everything he can to keep reminding me of them and keep my heart from turning completely toward God. But now, first, I want you to shrink the broken walls of your heart and start worship. When many such souls gather to worship, the church believes that the flames of amazing revival will be kindled.

2. When the Word is proclaimed, we must receive Amen and worship God.

“And Ezra blessed the Lord the great God, and all the people raised up their hands and answered, Amen, Amen, and bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.”

Why do we hear so many worship services to God? Does not receive God's grace and revival does not occur? The reason is that when the Word of God is proclaimed, it is not received as the Word of God.

Look at the people of Israel today. When the bachelor Ezra got up to read the book of God's law and praised God, the whole people were already moved with excitement and said Amen Amen, lowering their bodies to the ground and worshiping God. At this time, the flames of amazing revival are kindled.

A characteristic of a revival church is that Amen is a bountiful year, and a characteristic of a church that is not reviving is that Amen is a poor year. Amen is a bountiful year for the saints receiving grace, and Amen is a famine year for those who receive grace. Let's all shout Amen loudly. ---Amen---

Amen appears 12 times in Deuteronomy 27:11-26. But all of them are “cursed.” Still, all the people say Amen.

“The people in Berea were more generous than those in Thessalonica, so they received the word with all their heart, and they bought the Bible daily, wondering if this was the case.”

“God is faithful, and what we say to you is neither yes nor no.”

“..Christ Jesus did not say yes and no, for him it was only yes.”

“All the promises of God are yes in Christ, so that through him we say Amen to the glory of God.”

Amen is the secret to receiving grace and the church's revival. No matter how moved they were after hearing Ezra's words, they were all weeping, so it was a struggle to stop them.

“..Today is a holy day to the LORD your God, so do not mourn or weep.”

At least, this kind of emotional worship is what revives the church.

Yes)

There is a document that records what happened during the midday prayer time of the missionaries in Pyongyang on January 14, 1907.

“After a brief sermon, Graham Lee conducted and proclaimed to the congregation to pray, and several people started praying. . It was to the point that I couldn't really put the situation into writing. There was no confusion, on the contrary, there was a harmony between heart and soul, and it was a heart-to-heart communion that could not contain the shock of wanting to pray. The sound of prayer was like a waterfall, as if the great lake of prayer was rushing up to the throne of God.”

This was the so-called 1907 revival fire.

pascal

A few days after Pascal's death in 1662, a servant stumbled upon a parchment box containing the master's writings inside his master's cloak. It was Pascal's life-changing encounter that he had kept for eight years as a form of confession of faith.

“Monday 23 November 1654, Feast of St. Clement, in the Year of Grace,

Pope and martyrs and men of the martyrs, martyr St Chrysogonus and others

From about 10.30pm to 12.30pm

flame

not the God of philosophers and theologians,

God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob.

assurance. assurance. feeling. pleasure. peace.

God of Jesus Christ.

The flame that burned Pascal had nothing to do with the abstract God of which philosophers and theologians spoke. It was the flame that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob sang, a flame that blazed outwardly in Jesus Christ.

When this kind of spark of the Holy Spirit burns through worship, our hearts are revived and the flame of revival in the church burns brightly.

3. Worship Leading to Repentance and Filling of the Holy Spirit

The final steps for the revival of the people of Israel were accounting and spiritual fulfillment. When they received the Word, they received it as the Word of God, and I saw that their hearts were full of uncleanness. It is like the prophet Isaiah who found his sin after seeing the throne of God.

“On the twentieth day of the month, all the children of Israel gathered together and fasted, and clothed themselves in sackcloth, and fearing dust, and stood apart from all the Gentiles, confessing their sins and the transgressions of their ancestors.

Through the word of God proclaimed during the worship service, when repentance flows like a wave and tears of repentance flow like a storm, the flames of revival also arise.

The Israelites also confessed their sins of living like the Gentiles and even the sins of their ancestors. He repented of the sins of sexual corruption, of lying, of not living according to God's will, and of hating people. It is a chapter of repentance in which all sins are confessed until 9:38. I repented for a quarter of the day that day. That is, I shed tears of repentance for 6 hours.

Dear saints,

Revival begins with a clear and pure soul. A holy God does not allow revival in an unholy soul. I am holy, so you shall be holy. Therefore, please believe that if you give grace to a holy heart, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

When Peter received the Holy Spirit and preached the gospel, many people were bitten and pierced in their hearts.

“Peter said to him, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” At that time, the number of those who repented and believed in Jesus numbered three thousand.

This is the secret of church revival. This is the secret to receiving grace in our hearts.

conclusion

Dear saints,

We need the church to be revitalized and each of us needs to receive grace and be filled with the Holy Spirit. For that purpose, please pray well.

First of all, please rebuild the destroyed temple.

Please listen to the word of God that is heard during worship and receive it as Amen.

I hope that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit by examining your heart and repenting through worship.

So, I sincerely pray that your hearts will be revitalized and the church will be revitalized.
