Text: Revelation 21:1~8
beautiful hometown
The Lord wipes away all tears. A long wait, a short meeting, and a heartbreaking farewell! It was the 8/15 North-South reunion of 4 days and 3 nights that made the country cry and the world moved. Even if Sexpeare is reborn, it is impossible to express this tragicomedy with more than 200 episodes in such a short period of time. There are no words to describe the emotions and emotions of 200 North and South Korean August 15 reunions, 1,000 their families, 102 attendants, and countless others. Saints! If we don't have that splendid hometown heaven, how can we overcome this bitterness that human beings have to go through? The more I think about it, the more I think about it, the more I think about it, the more I think about it, the more I think about it, the more my hometown is prepared by our God on that day when we cross the river of terrible reality.
Hometown without tears
home without death
Because the result of a crime is death, there is no escape for the living, and death must shed blood and tears. However, since we receive eternal life when we believe in Jesus, the saints can overcome, and even though we must experience physical death, we can wipe away our tears with the hope of eternal life. Oh Young-jae (64), who became the first poet laureate to Kim Il-sung due to his excellent literary qualities, as a thorough communist who came to the sorrow of death without hope of eternal life, dedicated his poems to his deceased mother. "Are you saying you're gone / Are you sure you're gone / ...You said that you would be alive... / Oh, did you mean that promises and faith couldn't stand the test of time?" My mother told me not to get older… / You eat your son by two years a year, even for your son, / Did you leave so early!" Although he is a communist who denies the soul and the afterlife (in love), he could not help the love of Heaven. It is satisfying to see only the dream of a splendid hometown where there is no death.
hometown without sorrow
hometown without cry
God said, 'There is no crying' in the hometown of the saints. With the sorrow of parting, we held our hands together and wept, hugged each other, rubbed our cheeks, and wept while beating the ground. Everyone cried. Where on the Korean Peninsula can the voice of parting cry, grieving, injustice, frustration, and despair be the only voice on the Korean Peninsula? Hear that cry of the war zone today. As long as sinful human beings live on earth, they are everywhere. There is no way for humans to fundamentally solve the problem of such unhappiness because death cannot be overcome. But God turns our cries into joy. So we should all pray to God to reduce this. It is the job of the saints to suffer and intercede for the sins of the nation and mankind, and to strive to spread the gospel and nurture.
pain-free home
The pain caused by illness, including the heartache, is indescribable, and the end brings great sorrow to death. The longing for a son or younger brother has come for the first time in 50 years, but they can't meet due to illness. Heaven, where there are no tears, death, sorrow, cries, or pain, is the saint's greatest hope and strength. Because of this homeland, we rejoice today in a world where there is only suffering and sin, and we are boldly overcoming pain, preaching the gospel, and being faithful to God. Thank you again and again for how beautiful the promise God has given us through the 8/15 reunion between North and South Korea. I felt more and more how futile human promises and commitments are.
Dear saints, Let's be grateful and rejoice that we have a beautiful hometown. Even the vicious communism is defeated by a physical family reunion, but the joy of meeting holy saints in heaven is unimaginable. In this reunion between the two Koreas on August 15th, North Korea sent a lot of people it should not have sent to South Korea, but if it still rang 70 million, let's rejoice and rejoice as we envision the day of unification that God will achieve, not the eternal unification of heaven. Amen
