From Dusk Till DAWN (Rev 22:16)
Bible: Revelation 22:16
Each person has their own star in their heart
Some call it a dream, a hope, a wish
The night sky is beautiful because countless stars of dreams and hopes are looking down on us.
When you look at the stars, the peace of this world approaches you warmly.
From a young age, I went to morning prayer with my mother. The church was found only after crossing the mountains and passing through the village. In Korea, the morning prayer meeting starts at 4:30 am. So, get up at least before 4 am and go early so that you will not be late for the 4:30 worship service. Our church starts at 6am. You must come by at least 5:30 to pray and prepare.
I can't remember what day it was, but I saw a very bright morning star in the dawn sky, a dawn star with a tail. Last night I saw another very bright and dazzling star similar to him.
To put it simply, today's text begins with "I, Jesus..." and explains what kind of being Jesus Himself is.
In the Gospel of John, Jesus himself explained his existence in various ways by saying, "I am...".
① I am the light of the world (John 8:12)
② I am the gate of the sheep (John 10:7)
③ I am the good shepherd (John 10:11)
④ I am the resurrection and the life (John 11:25)
⑤ I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6)
⑥ I am the vine (John 15:5)
⑦ I am the bread of life (John 6:48)
⑧ I am a king (John 18:37)
Malachi 4:2 refers to Jesus as "the year of righteousness." Also, 2 Peter 1:19 describes the Lord as "the morning star that rises with the dawn".
And the text says, "I am the root and offspring of David, the bright morning star."
The morning star, the shining star, and the bright star have the following meanings.
1. The morning star, the shining star, the bright star, Jesus Christ means our hope.
Thousands of shells scattered on the beach are silently waiting for something. The clams wait, perhaps when the waves come in, and the sand rips through their flesh and burrows into their flesh. It is an indescribable pain for the sand to break through his flesh, and to live with sand in his tender flesh. But that hope of becoming a pearl is what makes him open to the waves.
That's right. We have too much sand right now. The waves come crashing down. We are surprised. But with hope and perseverance, we want to open the dawn of tomorrow with our vision.
Dawn belongs to the cleaners.
It is the dawn of those who always want to be cleansed, and the dawn of those who repent.
Dawn belongs to those who deliver the morning newspaper.
It is the dawn of those who want to deliver the news, and the dawn of those who want to spread the word.
Dawn belongs to those who deliver milk. The dawn of those who run to the hungry souls.
The dawn belongs to those who pray. The dawn of those who pray at dawn to see the bright dawn star.
That's right. The Lord is with us as a light like the bright morning star in the lives of those who pray in the morning.
A young man picked up a five-dollar bill on the street one day. After that, he developed a habit of only looking at the side of the road. It is said that after 10 years all he had obtained was 20,000 pins, a few bucks, and a hunched shoulder. And what he lost was the dazzling sunlight, the twinkling of the stars, the smiles of the people, and the taste of human life.
People who look down and live depressed will forget the things that are really important to them. You have to look far. And you have to look high. Hope and joy are blessings given when we look to the Lord as a bright light with positive eyes.
A dark and gloomy night, but nothing can stop the dawn from coming. Dawn is hope. Dawn is the starting point of the new day after the night has passed. That's right. Jesus Christ gives us a new day and a new life. The morning star, the shining star, the bright star, Jesus Christ is our hope. It's a fresh start.
2. The morning star, the shining star, the bright star, Jesus Christ means our victory.
No matter how dark the darkness is, it cannot overcome the light. Light a candle and the darkness in the room disappears. Even the thick darkness that covers the earth disappears when the sun rises. This is because the power of light is strong. Jesus, the bright morning star, is the victor over the darkness of the world.
In John 9, there is a story about a man who had been blind from birth. One day, the Lord met him on the road and said, "Go to Siloam and wash." He made mud with saliva and put it on his eyes. Then his eyes were healed. In this event, we discover the power of the Lord to cast out and heal darkness.
That day, the blind man opened his eyes twice. Once, you opened your physical eyes to see the world, things, and people, and once again, you opened your spiritual eyes to see the spiritual world and thank the Lord for His power and grace.
Currently, there are about 150,000 blind people in our country. Among them, it is said that about 20,000 people can open their eyes through open eye surgery. In the meantime, it is said that about 900 people have undergone eye opening surgery through Siloam Hospital.
“Pastor, please pray? I will have surgery on April 3rd. The function is said to be alive.
I have been blind since I was young because of an accident, but I want to see the Lord in the light of the resurrection on April 3 after having surgery on my eyes. And I want to live for you.
In our society, there are an unexpectedly large number of blind people. But even more important are the eyes of the spirit. Because the eyes of conscience, the eyes of truth, and the eyes of faith have been darkened, they cannot see a step ahead and each sins and leans toward luxury and pleasure.
It's like a car driving through a pitch-black night without the headlights turned on. Neither airplanes, cars, nor people, nor history, nor lights must go out. Jesus is the shining morning star. I hope you will meet the Lord through this special morning prayer meeting for the 40th.
3. The morning star, the shining star, the bright star, Jesus Christ is our grace.
The longer the light is turned on, the higher the electricity bill. Oil boilers also cost more fuel the longer they burn. One of the methods for treating cancer is radiation therapy. The treatment method is not only a problem in the cost of treatment, but there are also many difficulties in the method. In other words, it is said that the physical pain experienced by the person receiving treatment is great, and the psychological pain suffered from abnormalities in each part of the body cannot be ignored.
From this point of view, for example, how much would it cost to light the world with electricity 24 hours a day, 365 days a year? will it cost you? No, would that be possible? Impossible.
However, God gave the sunlight by day and the moonlight by night, and he is illuminating the universe with those lights. And he gives light, oxygen, and rain and dew for living things to grow. Is that all? He is healing our dying souls and illuminating and guiding our path as a lamp of hope.
In a word, it is "grace".
Isaiah 61:2 refers to these events as "the year of grace" and "the day of salvation," and Luke 4:19 says "to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
An artist painted a picture. The painting was set in the middle of the night, with a man in a small boat going across a lake. But it's not a cruise. High and strong waves, the wind that seems to swallow a ship, and a swaying ship, one star is emitting a strong light, and the sailor is staring at the star. Below the picture is written the following text:
"If I lose that star, I lose myself, and if I lose myself, I lose everything."
The world we live in these days is simply too dark and bleak. But for that very kind of world, the Lord came to this world, the shining star, the bright star, and the morning star, and he is still with us.
If I lose the Lord who is the morning star, I will wake up. You will lose everything. When the lamp of my heart and the lamp of my soul go out, the whole world and the way I go will be darkened. But when I light the lamp of my soul, my life and the world become brighter.
How can I light the lamp of my soul?
It is to receive Jesus, the morning star, as my Lord.
All you have to do is receive Jesus, the eternally shining morning star, into your soul.
Don't blame the world for being dark, but light up my soul. I have to keep my eyes open.
And we must meet Jesus, who is the morning star who shines exceptionally brightly and brilliantly at dawn. In the name of the Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will receive the shining star, the bright star, and the light of Jesus Christ through the special early morning prayer meeting on the 40th.
