Title: Revelation 22:20 Jesus is Coming

Jesus will return (Revelation 22:20)
A few years ago, in Bombay, India, 100 virgins together saw the words "Jesus is coming soon" written in fire in the night sky. Also, around that time, 300 saints in Sweden prayed all night and on their way back, they saw all the words "Behold, I will come soon" written in the sky. It is said that many people have seen such letters written over the Soviet Union a few years ago. It is clear that Jesus' return is imminent. So, I think that former Soviet presidents like Gorovachev rose up and used an open policy to call out the last people of God. He confessed that he was baptized as an infant while on a boat with the President of the United States, and that his mother still prays a lot.
The Bible is full of God's promises. Among the many promises, the last one is about the Second Coming.
The word "second coming" here is the Greek word 'parousia', which originally means "the visit of the judges." Therefore, "The Second Coming" refers to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, which has many implications for Jesus' account and judgment for all people. In other words, if Jesus' "first coming" (birth) was to save mankind, Jesus' "second coming" is strong to judge the world.
In the Old and New Testaments, prophecies about the “second coming” of Jesus are mentioned 1215 times. Verse 1845 of the Old Testament is about the Second Coming of Jesus, and verse 318 of the 260 chapters of the New Testament is about the Second Coming of Jesus. This means that the second coming of Jesus is mentioned once every 25 verses in the average New Testament. And throughout the Bible, there are eight times more records of the Second Coming than the significant First Coming (birth) of Jesus. Of the 27 books of the New Testament, the Second Coming of Jesus is prophesied in all the Bibles except the 2nd and 3rd John, Philemon and Galatians. There are even cases where the entire chapter refers to the Second Coming of Jesus (Matthew 24; 25/Mark 13/Luke 21).
Indeed, the promise of Jesus' second coming is very clear.
(One). It is God's thorough plan (predestination) (Matthew 24:36/ 2 Peter 3:8-12/ Revelation 1:8). (2). Jesus Himself testifies (Matthew 24:30-44, 26:64/ Revelation 22:20). (3). It is the moving work of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). (4). The angels testify (Acts 1:11). (5). These are prophecies of the prophets (Daniel 7:13-14/ Zechariah 14:4/ Jude 1:14-15) (6). The apostles testify (Acts 3:20-21/ 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
The “second coming” of Jesus is everyone’s hope (Titus 2:13/Phil 3:20-21). It is important because it challenges all people to live serving God (1 John 3:2/ 2 Peter 3:11/ 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10). In addition, the promise of Jesus' second coming is important because it comforts those who are in sorrow and gives great strength to those in distress, persecution, and hardship (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18).
How will Jesus return?
The text we have given as a gift today says, “He who testifies of these things said, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’ Amen, come, Lord Jesus” (Rev 22:20). The Bible only says that the second coming of Jesus is coming soon (Revelation 1:1, 22:7, 12). No one knows the exact time of Jesus' second coming, only God knows (Matthew 24:36/Mark 13:32/Acts 1:6-7).
There are three secrets hidden from us in this world.
(One). It is the secret of tribulation.
No one knows what kind of trouble I will face one day, when, or at what time. Because they do not know the tribulation, they cannot even prepare for it.
(2). It is the secret of death.
I never know when I will die. Nevertheless, there are people who think they will live for hundreds of years and run wild. The Bible says that death is ordained. Today, out of the more than 5 billion people in the world, 235 are born and 96 die every minute. If we look at it that way, 5,760 people die in one hour, and 138,240 people die in one day. Whether we like it or not, the hour of death is approaching for an individual. If you say, "Believe in Jesus and be saved," you say, "Yes, you have to believe, but there are many reasons. After you educate your children, save some money, and after you pass your 60s, you will believe. . First, you must believe and see Jesus quickly to be safe. Death is a mystery.
(3). It is the secret of the Second Coming.
The second coming of Jesus is our hope and blessing.
*. Jesus said that He would come suddenly (the Second Coming).
He said that He would come as a woman in childbirth (1 Thessalonians 5:3). If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth well, she becomes a mother, but if she gives birth wrongly, she will die. Just as a woman can have eternal life if she welcomes the coming of Jesus well, but eternal death (hell) if she does it wrong.
*. The second coming of Jesus may seem delayed, but it is sure to come.
Habakkuk 2:3 says, “This vision has an appointed time, and its end will come quickly, and it will not be false; though it delays, wait, for it will surely come without delay.” Hebrews 10:37 says, “After a little while, he who is coming will come.” He will not delay.”
In this way, Jesus will surely come again, and when will that time be? Although we do not know the time and day, it is a secret.
*. Jesus said that He would come like a thief (Second Coming).
In Matthew 24:42, “Watch out, for you do not know on what day your Lord will come, for you know that if the owner of the house had known at what point the thief was coming, he would have been awake, so that he could not break through the house.” 1 Thessalonians 5:2 The verse says, “For you yourselves know in detail that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” Why was it said that Jesus would come like a thief? Just as a thief comes without warning, the last days come without warning. Foreign invasions come without warning like thieves. The second coming of Jesus will also come suddenly and without warning. This means that he will come suddenly without notice or notice like a thief to unbelievers who have neither interest nor preparation for the Second Coming. Also, just as thieves usually come at night, Jesus will come when the night of sin deepens.
In the 1800s, when the Soviet Union was experiencing economic hardship, the white snow covered Alaska land was sold to the United States for only $7.2 million. Although we sold a lot of land as large as our country for about 5 billion won, the Soviet Union liked it because it thought it was useless land. However, it was discovered that there was an enormous amount of underground resources buried there. The Soviet Union did not know how to see the land. If you do not know the second coming of Jesus, you are a foolish nation of the Soviet Union.
What is the great purpose of Jesus' second coming?
(One). To save the saints (Hebrews 9:28/Romans 5:9;8:23/1 Thessalonians 4:16-17/Colossians 3:4). (2). To destroy the devil (1 John 3:8/Hebrews 2:14/Rev 9:1-3; 19:20). (3). To recompense for good or evil (Matthew 10:42/Romans 2:6-8;14:10-12/John 5:28-29/ 1Co 15:58/ 2Co 5:10/ Revelation 20:11-12/Ecclesiastes) 12:14). (4). To judge those who worship other foreign gods, antichrists, and heretics (Rev 22:15/Matt 7:21-22). (5). To judge the world (Matthew 25:31-33/ James 5:9/ 2 Peter 3:12-13/ 2 Tim 4:1/ Acts 17:31). No one can escape judgment before God (Revelation 20:12).
In order not to be put to shame at the time of God's judgment, I hope that you will believe in Jesus and do good faithfulness and service while you are alive and in good health. Amen.
If you fail in the entrance exam, you can try again, but if you do wrong in your faith life and meet Jesus, you don't have time to try again. Don't be the one who regrets. I hope that you will be recognized for doing well on the day you meet Jesus and become a saint who is praised.
Women go to beauty salons to beautify themselves. On days when I don't go to the hair salon, I decorate myself in front of the dressing table. I recently learned from a book that some women took three and a half hours to apply a night cream at night, a cold cream in the morning, and 38 cosmetics a day. Who is that beauty for? It is for the groom. The bride puts on makeup to please the groom and to be loved.
In this way, the saints who become brides must adorn their inner self in order to please Jesus, the bridegroom. 1 Peter 3:3-4 says, “Do not adorn your hair, wear gold, or put on beautiful clothes, not outward appearance, but let the hidden person be incorruptible of a meek and stable spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. He does.
Just as the stars shine when the night is dark and the dawn approaches when the night is deep, history is running toward the end, but the day when Jesus will come is nearer for us. Our Jesus will surely return. No matter what anyone says, it is proceeding exactly according to God's plan. Amen.
Now, like the Apostle John, we pray that you will become a Han Ah-reum family who can confidently say, “Amen, come, Lord Jesus.” Amen
