Lamb's Victory
Today we celebrate Easter Sunday. Wishing you all the grace and power of the life of our risen Lord, I earnestly hope that the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ will soon be a time of grace, confirming that it points to the victory of the Lamb.
1. The victory of the Lamb is closely related to the prophecies of the Messiah in the Bible.
Today's text Isaiah 11 contains the contents of [Messiah Prophecy]. The Israelites have been waiting for [Messiah] for a very long time. This Messiah, who appeared in the prophecies of the prophets a long time ago, was a Messiah with a powerful rulership like King David and a political Messiah who could completely save the nation of Israel. Today, we Christians believe and accept the resurrected Jesus as the Messiah of mankind, but in the eyes of the Israelites, Jesus is only a prophet and a poor Roman prisoner on death row. Because they do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus. So today, most of the Israelites are eagerly waiting for the promised Messiah. But all these thoughts are only the thoughts of the Israelites. If you look at the words of Isaiah in today's text, you can't see the so-called [political messiah] that the Messiah will appear and save the nation of Israel. Even today, we must not forget that all attempts to achieve heaven through physical means or methods are in vain.
2. Messianic prophecy has a very direct relationship with the Lamb.
3. The victory of the Lamb becomes the driving force that changes the history of this earth today.
Conclusion: As the people of the Messianic kingdom ruled by the resurrected Lamb, the victorious Lamb, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will be able to live as agents that transform this history. Amen.
