Title: Right Lessons and False Stories
1. The Bible does not change for sound teaching
The present world, which is called the last days, is an age of material, physical, and personal glorification, and the most dangerous thing is to be confused spiritually due to miscellaneous knowledge. This is a more painful situation than physical suffering and persecution.
Gal 1:8-9 ‘8. But let us, or even angels from heaven, be accursed if they preach any gospel other than the gospel we preached to you (sound teaching). 9 As we have said before, I say again now, if anyone Cursed if you preach another gospel.”
2 Corinthians 11:4 “If anyone goes and preaches a different Jesus, which we have not preached, or causes you to receive a different spirit from which you have not received, or to receive a different gospel from which you have not received, you tolerate it well.”
2 Timothy 4:3 “The time is coming when people will not receive sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate many teachers to cater to their own desires.”
This is an era when pastors even say that there is salvation in other religions as well. Believers who listen without criticism due to lack of professionalism are extremely dangerous.
2. If it is not true, it is a false story
The world still studies life and promotes its own development. However, even now, there is no wisdom of the right life in the world. 2 Timothy 4:4 “And they will turn their ears away from the truth, and follow myths.”
In the original world, there is no wisdom about or acceptable to God. Romans 3:4 "... All men are lies, but God is true..."
Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest anyone take you captive by philosophy and vain deceit..."
You just need to know how to deal with it. When listening to the gospel, it is a sermon with a sense of heretical in general if it sounds casual and comfortable. So what's the right message? The opposite is true. It usually calls for repentance or teaches a godly attitude to live in the truth. Because if you want to live the truth, you can go anywhere in the world, the text 2 Timothy 4:5 “But be careful in all things, endure hardships, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
If we want to live the truth at any time, the world always challenges us. From the inside of the church to the outside, the spirit of the enemy was surrounded.
With the fall within Christianity in the phenomena of the last days,
1) Materialism
James 5:3 “Your gold and silver have rusted, and this rust will be a witness to you and will eat your flesh like fire, for you have amassed wealth in the last days.”
Hebrews 13:5 “Do not love money…”
1 Timothy 6:8 “If we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.”
2) individualism
Originally, the church was one, but we do not feel that way in this day and age. If we feel it, we will come together like a gang and become one, but we are not becoming one in Christ.
As in verse 3 of the main text, it is said, “Have many teachers to follow their own passions…”
2 Timothy 3:2 ‘People love themselves…’ Individualism does not hesitate to socialize, culturalize, and religiousize the gospel for its own position rather than for the truth to stand for its own sake. You will be paid the price of miracles for Satan.
Today is called the information age, but there is so much knowledge that it has become rather confusing. This is an era of brutally empty stories. Longing for the right lessons is not an old-fashioned religious culture. True truth does not change and has been handed down from time immemorial. I pray that you will realize that only the spirit toward Jesus is the right lesson.
