Title: Right Road
Contents
Ruth abandons her hometown (the world) and goes to the hometown of her dead husband (Jesus) (heaven), that is, the hometown of her mother-in-law (the Holy Spirit). Ruth does not know the way to Bethlehem (heaven). Because it's a road I've never been on before.
Ruth did not keep a distance from her mother-in-law so as not to miss this path, and followed her tightly. It is like the words of evidence that it is written, “They lifted their voices and wept again, and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth followed her” (Ruth 1:14).
Ruth is younger and faster than her old mother-in-law. The road to Bethlehem is not a simple road. Sometimes Ruth takes the lead. Going forward, she goes on her own way, thinking that maybe that road is the way to Bethlehem, but her mother-in-law tells her that it is the wrong way. This is the way to go with your mother-in-law, so you can hear even small sounds.
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, a voice will be heard behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, and ye shall walk in this’” (Isaiah 30:21) was fulfilled between Ruth and her mother-in-law. There is.
This is not just for Ruth. It is “you” not “you” and “you” not “you”. To all who walk in the Spirit. When her old mother-in-law immediately behind her back says, “This is the way, you must do it.” Ruth's heart overflowed with joy and tears of endless emotion overflowed from her eyes.
I, who hear this voice now, also, as I write this, with joy and tears, I leave the hometown I came from and go to the hometown of Jesus, who died for me. Only one Spirit of Jesus lives in me. That voice speaking to me in the written word. will follow
To the human eye, the wide road seems like a straight road, but the road to the hometown of the dead Jesus is a narrow road. Today, many people have forsaken the way and are going down the broad and easy road of destruction. This is what God has ordained.
As it is written, “I have also become a stone of stumbling and a rock of stumbling.” They stumble because they disobey the word, and this is how it was ordained them (1 Peter 2:8). Even now, with tears in my eyes, I say that many are enemies of the cross of Christ” (Philippians 3:18).
The road to the hometown of her deceased husband, Marlon, is narrow and narrow, and no one can find it. The Bible calls this way the Way of the Cross. It is the same as the evidence written, “Narrow is the gate and stray is the way that leads to life, and few find it” (Matthew 7:14).
To man, the way to live seems to be the way to heaven, but to God, the way to die is the way to heaven. As the prophet said, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, saith the LORD, My ways are not your ways, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8- 9) It is the same as the evidence you gave.
Therefore, the Bible says, “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh, to us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For the one who is after the flesh thinks about the things of the flesh, and he who is according to the Spirit thinks about the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:3-6). ) proves that.
The requirements of the law are not the flesh, but the spirit. It is not sin, it is righteousness. Therefore, Jesus was finished in the flesh to fulfill the requirements of the law. This is to bring everyone to their homeland. As it is written, “When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to me…” (John 12:32).
Thus, Ruth found rest in a better home. He rested in the bosom of the resurrected Christ (Boaz). It is written, "Ruth's mother-in-law Naomi said to her, My daughter, should I not find a resting place for you, so that you may be blessed?" (Ruth 3:1) was fulfilled.
Concerning those whose requirements of the law, or righteousness, have been fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Bible says, “Though the righteous dies, no one cares for them; though the merciful will be taken away, no one understands that the righteous are taken from the treasury. I am the one who walks in the right way, and rests comfortably in their beds” (Isaiah 57:1-2).
“Everyone who walks in the way finds comfort in their beds.” Amen, thank you Lord.
