I. See the despairing reality through the eyes of faith
<
Dear all! We must see any event with the eyes of faith. I hope that you will not be discouraged and discouraged if you fail at something. Please believe that a time of great failure and a time of great despair is a time of blessing where you can receive the blessings of Canaan.
II. get up
“Now you rise up with all this people” (2). He tells you to get up. First, it tells you to get up from a tired seat. Now the people of Israel are weary of 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. However, the land of blessing and the promised land is right in front of us, but we cannot sit still because we are tired and weary. I have to get up. I need to get stronger again. Everyone! Are you tired? Are you tired? How tired and hard are you with your work life, family life, and church service? But let's be strong. I pray that you will be strengthened by looking at Canaan, the land of blessing. Second, it is telling you to get up from where you want to settle down. Now, the people of Israel just want to rest in peace. The east side of the Jordan River, where the people of Israel are currently tenting, is a vast and fertile land. It is a land where I want to settle down. So Reuben, Gad, Manasseh, and the Vanites have acquired an inheritance to live here. The Israelites wanted to live in a quiet and comfortable place than in the land of Canaan, where they had to cross the Jordan River and bleed for war. But that was not God's will. The land that God promised is the land of Canaan across the Jordan River.
Dear all! It is not God's will to settle for reality. God commands us to rise up toward the promised land of Canaan. I pray that you will become saints who rise up toward greater blessings and move forward.

Ⅲ. cross the Jordan
<
<"Get up and cross this Jordan" (2). This is the rainiest time of the year. It is when the waters of the Jordan River overflow to the river hills. God tells us to cross this overflowing Jordan River. I don't understand. How can you cross this overflowing Jordan River? God's time and man's time are different. The most difficult time as a human being may be when God is working. If you tried to cross the Jordan River when the Jordan River was dry, you would have made a lot of sacrifices and could not occupy Jericho. Why? If the Jordan River were dry, the Canaanites would have fortified their boundaries and desperately stopped the Israelites from crossing the Jordan River. But now it is the rainy season, and the Jordan River is overflowing with flooding, so the Israelites were vigilant even when they were on the other side of the river.
Dear all! Crossing the overflowing Jordan River is difficult. However, this is the best opportunity to conquer Canaan. I pray for you to keep in mind that difficult times are also opportunities for blessings today.

IV. go to the land of Canaan
Dear all! Please keep in mind the words you gave us this morning. See the despairing reality through the eyes of faith. get up Cross this Jordan. Go to Canaan, the land of blessing. I pray that 2007 will end all trials in the wilderness and you will receive the blessings of Canaan in the new year of 2008.
