Title: Rise up, let's go together

get up and let's go

Song of Songs 2:8-14

influential church

On the list of America's most influential churches, Willow Creek Church took first place and Saddleback Church took second place. Already well known in Korea, the influence of these churches is truly global. It is natural for the church to have a good influence. Those who believe become the light, salt, and leaven of the world and live with a good influence. What kind of influence are you? Or are you following the world's trends and pursuing a quiet life regardless of influence? The Lord calls us to live with influence. Influence is a sense of accomplishment, because this is the happiness of life. Those whom the Lord calls to ‘get up and go together’ are those who have no influence and are hiding. Who are you calling?

1. one who blames time

The Lord tells those who have fallen down because of the years to get up and go together. Looking at verse 11 and below in the text, now, that is, the time of the Lord's providence, is the time to sing and the time to ripen the fruit. We must rise up confessing that God is the Lord of time. If you are the master of time, you are plagued with regret and impatience. They do not bear any fruit and they only blame the new moon. Now is the time to pray. Now is the time to praise. Now is the time to strive to gather It is time to rise with the Lord.

2. A person crushed by a crevice

The Lord tells the man who is crushed by the cleft of the rock to get up and go with him. He has compassion on those who are crushed by the rock of finances and the rock of hardship and cannot get up. What rock is holding you down? Call on the name of Jesus Christ rather than struggle to get out of yourself. The Lord who wants to hear our voice will respond quickly.

3. The man on the cliff

Also, the Lord tells people who are at the end of their lives and are sitting down, not knowing what to do. He helps those who have met a cliff along the way and who do not know what to do or where to go. He leads us to experience the power of God who parted the Red Sea and dried up the Jordan River. If you are afraid of the future, be with Jesus Christ. We need to take his hand and go boldly toward the wild road in the wilderness.

4. A person who suffers from secret sins

In Matthew 6, there are three things to do in secret: almsgiving, fasting, and prayer. However, many people commit a secret sin that is shameful to even talk about. And this feeling of guilt has the power to bring us down. Therefore, we must believe in the grace of forgiveness of Jesus Christ and repent of all our unclean sins to break free from the bondage of sin. You must be free as a bird from the hunter's snare. Today the Lord does not condemn us. You call me my love, my pretty one, and invite you to get up and go with me. Let's respond to this invitation and move forward together toward an influential, fulfilling and happy life.
