Title: Romans 12:15-16
content together
Romans 12:15-16
1. The saints must live a life together.
(Text verse 15) God created human beings as social animals, and he delighted in living together with each other (Genesis 1:27, male and female; Gen 2:18, helper. shape). King David sang, “How good and how good it is that Moses and Aaron dwell together in unity as brothers” (Psalm 133; Proverbs 17:17). Heaven is a place of co-existence (the tragedy of life is separation. Death is separation. Physical death is the separation of spirit and body. The separation between the righteous God and human beings is spiritual death.) Jesus achieved vertical reconciliation with God at the top and bottom of life separated by sin through the cross, and horizontal reconciliation between Jews and Gentiles on the left and right by becoming children of God. And when they are together, they have great power, and amazing development and growth, revival and progress will appear (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. China, which is made up of more than 50 ethnic groups, the United States).
2. We should rejoice together and cry together.
(Text Verse 15) There are times when life is happy and there are times when it is sad (Ecclesiastes 7:14). (1) You should rejoice with those who rejoice, but it is not easy. There is a Korean proverb that says, “There are no relatives in good things, and there are relatives in difficult things” (if your cousin buys rice fields, your stomach hurts). This is because of the selfish, depraved nature of selfishness (out of envy and jealousy. Luke 15:22-32, Another prodigal son in the prodigal son, we have to share in the joy of our father - Patriarchs become too calculating in the Korean Aekyungsa. Joy increase and health). (2) Crying with someone who weeps reduces sadness, relieves loneliness and fear, and gives you courage to stand up again (Mrs. Cho, who lives in West Lake, Dongmyeong-myeon, Hamheung-gun, who has believed in Jesus since 1913). Why did Jesus come into the world? Jesus, who came to save sin and those who are slaves of the devil, became like a human and was sympathetic to all their sufferings and weaknesses (Hebrews 2:17-18, 4:15-16). There are wonderful blessings to those who weep together (Sundasing, who carried a dead man while crossing the Himalayas, Einstein on the violin of a poor girl. We help each other).
3. You must learn the skills to work together
(Text verse 16) (1) We must have the same heart with each other (Acts 2:43-47, the early Jerusalem church; Philippians 2:5, the heart of Jesus Christ). (2) Do not set your heart on high things, but rather set yourself on low things (those who give up pride and humble themselves and serve). ⑶ Don't pretend to be wise in yourselves (1 Corinthians 8:1, 1:27-28; Gal 6:6-10, you reap what you sow).
Conclusion: The ideal family is a church-like family, and the ideal church is a family-like church. A shameful statistic was released that 70% of Koreans who had started a religious life and quit halfway were Christians. Also, among the many reasons why Korean church members move to church, the first is because of moving, and the second is because of discord and disputes among the church members. The lack of training in the community of love that cannot be with each other is a big problem not only in the country and society, but also in the church. We pray for a life of sharing and giving, rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep, glorify God and lead a blessed life.
