Title: Romans 14:6-9 Everything is yours
Content Title: Everything Beware
Bible: Romans 14:6-9
Paul says, “If we live, we live for the Lord; if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.” I am speaking.
We are all yours. Only by acknowledging and confessing that fact will the road be opened and you will succeed.
Haggai 2:8 says, "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine." 1 Chronicles 29:11 says, “Everything in heaven and earth is yours.”
You must believe and confess that everything belongs to you.
1. Life is yours.
Genesis 2:7 says, "The LORD God formed man from the dust, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became life."
Life is created by God. not mine
Human beings are not allowed to treat their own lives as they please. The reason is that life belongs to God who made it. Because this life is so precious and precious, the Lord even died on the cross to save it. My life is not mine. It is of God.
According to the newspaper, a 22-year-old college student underwent breast augmentation surgery, but the operation went wrong and the saline solution placed in the breast burst, and she died of shock during reoperation. It is truly absurd that he died while enlarging the precious life God had given him.
We must value the life God has given us and use it for God's sake.
2. Possession is the Lord's.
It is said that the most common disease of modern people is headache. In the United States, it is estimated that there are over 50 million chronic headache patients. Since the division of medicine is located in the United States, you cannot buy medicine anywhere. However, a medicine that can be bought anywhere without a prescription is a headache medicine. Headache medications such as aspirin, anacin, and tylenol are also available at life stores. That's why there are so many chronic headache patients. However, experts say that 70% of chronic headaches are due to posture. Thinking, speaking, sitting, working, and living postures cause headaches.
If I think that everything I have is mine and live with that attitude, my bones aches and I can't sleep at night. But it is convenient to think that everything belongs to God. There is no pain in the head and no deceit. Let's confess and believe that both me and possessions belong to the Lord.
3. Your home is also yours.
The meaning of a building has different values and uses depending on who moves in and what it does. The same goes for households. Depending on who stays in the family and how they live, the value and meaning of the family will change.
I was invited to the home of a church member who had a great success in business. It was a town where only the rich lived. The neighborhood was a rich neighborhood with a five-billion-dollar house. It had a large lot, an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, and it was the biggest and nicest house I've been to. It was a house with a great view of the lake and mountains from the outside of the drawing room. The living room wall was adorned with a fireplace and expensive paintings, and on one wall was a large decorative cabinet. Inside the cabinet were expensive ceramics, Norwegian crystal vases, and expensive wine-cotton spirits that were said to have been collected while traveling the world. A 100-year-old red wine that is worth the price. There was also a Western liquor called Valentine. But there was a picture of Jesus in the center column. Upon closer inspection, Jesus' face appeared reddish. Perhaps it was because of the smell of wine and spirits.
I told the landlord to remove one of them. The Lord hates that kind of atmosphere. Joshua cried out. “Choose whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Let's get rid of pictures, books, videotapes, magazines, ornaments, and drinks that are not worthy of the Lord's presence in our homes.
4. Time will also pay attention.
The day and the night, the day and the moon were created by God. Therefore, you should not use the time and day as you please. Monday-Sunday are all days made by the Lord. But among them, Sunday is the day to commemorate and worship the resurrection of the Lord. That is why we must keep Sunday holy. There is no Sunday in communist countries, Buddhist countries, Muslim countries, and atheistic countries. However, in developed countries, everyone has Sundays. On Sunday, the Lord was resurrected and the Holy Spirit descended. The apostles worshiped and taught the Word on Sundays.
Do not confuse your day with mine, your time with my time. Isaiah 58:13 says, "Do not engage in entertainment on a holy day. Let it be honorable." And verse 14 says, "You will find joy in the Lord, and you will be exalted on high."
If you want to be something, keep a good Sunday. It is more effective than meeting 10 people or 1000 people.
A few days after Garfield, the 20th President of the United States, entered the White House as president, his secretary visited
and "Sir, there is a ministerial meeting scheduled for this Sunday morning at 10 am. You must attend.
"I'm sorry," Garfield said. "I have an appointment for that day. but each
Ha, don't you know that this is a serious crisis situation that can be called a national emergency? Lee Bo
What could be more important? no. More important than the ministerial meeting?
All. It cannot be changed or undone. Who the hell are you promising? The promise is with the Lord
is the promise of This promise is an old one.
The Lord is precious. Let's not spend the day as we please. The day of the Lord must be properly observed. It should be used as a day to refrain from entertainment, to abstain from evil, and to draw close to God.
My life, my possessions, my time, my life, my health, my family, everything belongs to you.
Lord, write yours
-Amen
