Travel to Rome (23:31-24:9)
23:11 “That night the Lord stood by Paul and said, “Take courage!
Just as you testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”
Paul's journey to Rome began.
This journey of sharing the gospel of God is not a comfortable, happy, and enjoyable journey as a blessed servant of God, but a journey of suffering as if I almost died in Jerusalem. ), the text of 23:31-32 suggests that it is a dangerous journey that has to be managed and managed to get out of the way, and to be dragged another 40km.
Training is a time of foretold hardship.
Philip and his disciples, who prophesied that Paul would be chained in Jerusalem (21:8-11), were probably watching when Paul entered Caesarea in chains.
I think they were people who knew God's way, but didn't know the meaning of it. It was because they had prophesied that Paul would be arrested, so they begged him not to go up.
But Paul didn't know how to do it, but (Isn't it right to ignore it?)
You must have known what it meant. Because it is prepared for death!
So he would have obeyed his absolute sovereignty.
That absolute sovereignty!
It was a difficult and difficult path for Paul himself, but for us in this day and age,
We see that God's gospel plan for the Gentiles, unfolding like a flowing stream, is opened one by one through Paul's obedience.
Even following in the footsteps of Jesus, standing in front of the governor, and being sued in front of the accusations of the Jews who have followed them all this far.
I do not know it well now, but I seek the will of the Lord who is guiding and planning us and me.
I don't know how to do it, but I realize that the meaning is surely that He saves us, loves us, and leads us to the best and proper path.
I pray today that I will be able to obey that sovereignty just as Paul obeyed and fulfilled God's plan.
Like the Jews who accused Paul, we must be awake, pray, and be trained so as not to commit the sin of foolishness of thinking that false convictions and beliefs are the will of God.
We praise and glorify God who uses the Jews who have committed such a vicious deed as an opportunity to preach the way of resurrection.
I pray that I will become a disciple who will be used so that God's plan for me will not be transferred to others by falling into this generation's own dogma.
As it is, I pray that even though I am lacking and powerless, I will give you greater faith so that I can go out without being shaken.
There was a children's yard mini sports day on Sunday.
I first started having fun at the playground next to the apartment, but they asked me to leave because it was noisy in the apartment,
The road on the back road next to the mountain above the apartment said that cars barely knew it, so I moved there.
Although there was no car, it was a place I did not like very much,
I prayed until the car would stop running, prepared again, and started the game.
Also, how bright are children and how quickly their hearts open up. Again, lively laughter was spreading in the autumn sunlight!
But, just then, a window opened on the higher floor of an apartment by the road and an old woman appeared
We were told that we were noisy, and that we parked in the driveway at the church, so let's get our car out. Grandma seemed to know that we were from the church next door, and he lashed out at the church for rudeness. And it was starting to scream out loud over and over again to leave.
We were embarrassed and angry. We protested together, but I couldn't do anything more in front of the grandmother who kept screaming loudly by herself and the children who were watching it all. I hurriedly packed my bags again and decided to just go to the mountain.
However, when we climbed the mountain road for about 5 minutes, there was not only a wide open space and all kinds of exercise equipment, but also children playing and laughing.
It was a nice place with people.
Here, we were grateful to see the children playing happily while enjoying the autumn sky and autumn mountains.
It was only this morning that I, foolishly realized, that the grandmother who had yelled at us had sent us there.
God wants to give really good things to our children and is preparing them, but it must have been frustrating because we didn't know.
Thank you very much to all the teachers at the Children's Yard who worked hard and worked hard that day. We are so thankful that we are being used as instruments of God's plan, and I pray that we will always be able to know God's providence that leads us with force.
Evangelist, teacher who serves our children's yard,
Let us thank God for protecting and protecting us all.
God knows and reigns.
