Title: Rooted Faith / Psalm 1:1-6
Content Rooted Faith / Psalm 1:1~6
Key Verse: “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Word: When difficulties come in our lives, the important thing is to “take root”. Because, in the end, as it takes root, it is bound to bear fruit. What roots are you talking about?
First, we must take root in the right Word and faith. There are people who are tested and fail while they are living their life of faith because they have not taken root in the gospel. Therefore, if you take root in the Word and take root in prayer, you will receive blessings. If the roots are deeply rooted and spread along the water, they are always green and can bear fruit according to the seasons. So, if we hold on to the covenant of the Word and put down the roots of faith, He said, “It will be done according to your faith.” We have the secret of living in the world, and Jesus said to pray for the kingdom of God to be established after the resurrection. That is, we should always pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, when you take root in your faith, everything is meant to be.
Second, what about the wicked and the blessed? People in the world say that there is good luck if you have good health, honorary material, of course, but it is true that you must first receive God's blessing. Otherwise, if you are healthy, have money and fame, living can become a problem, so you must receive God's blessing first.
This happened. The body of a young man in his thirties in a bathing suit came to mind off the coast of Busan, and when he saw that he had been stabbed in the chest and had a check for 5 million won in his pocket. If a person who does not receive God's blessings has money and honor, he may perish. Therefore, although the wicked appear to be prosperous, it is said that the wind is like chaff, and in the end, it cannot withstand judgment, whereas the righteous bear fruit like a tree planted by a stream.
Third, however, it must take root well. There are many people among us who are bound by the law and have their own thoughts, prejudices, and stubbornness rather than those who say, “It is completely the gospel.” Because they cannot take root in the gospel, unbelievers are deceived by demons, and among those who believe, they block the gospel, are used by Satan, and fight and cause problems. However, if we take root of life in the ‘Word and Gospel’ and meditate and pray day and night, all problems will be solved.
Prayer: God. Please give me the roots of the gospel so that I can follow the times and lead a fruitful life. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
