Title: Sacrifice

“By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.”
In Chilean mountain swamps live an unusual little frog called 'Rinodermar'. When it comes time to lay eggs, the female of these frogs lays eggs wrapped in a jelly-like substance. At that moment, the male next to him swallows all the eggs. Rather than swallowing them completely like prey, they treasure the eggs in their sacs near the esophagus. He then sacrifices himself completely until the eggs are mature. The male frog never opens his mouth until the eggs are fully mature. They give up crying, which is their reason for being and an important pleasure. They even give up eating for the safety of the pups in the sound pouch.
One day, when the eggs are judged to be fully grown, the frog opens its mouth and releases the young tadpole out of its mouth as if with a long yawn.
If you want your love to bear fruit, you must decide to love to the end. And you have to endure whatever sacrifices come. Precious things like life can only bloom in such love.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit” (John 12:24).
British scholars asked Sundar Singh.
"How do you interpret the New Testament saying that we are saved by the blood of Jesus?" Sundar Singh replied:
"It happened while I was preaching the gospel in Burma. One day I said, 'Christ shed His blood to save us sinners.' Then a gentleman came out and said, 'What this man is saying is true.' At first I thought he was a Christian, but then I found out that he wasn't even a Christian. He goes on to say: One day he It is said that he slipped off a slope while walking and was seriously injured and bled. His father found him and rushed him to the hospital, but he was almost dead by the time. The doctor grabbed me and said, 'He's my only son, and I'll do anything a human can do.' The doctor, who was not satisfied with his father's plea, said that anyone could be saved if he donated blood, and his father was overjoyed and took his own blood and gave it to him. In the end, 'Father died, and he is alive.'
Like this Burmese, I fell off the mountain and lost my spirit blood. When I was about to die, with no hope of surviving, Jesus Christ poured out his blood on me. He gave me life."
Spiny fish are the only fish that make nests. Spiny fish scoop sand from riverbeds with their snouts and build nests there. The sand hut is also covered with plants to make the perfect spawning nest. From this point on, the spiny fish male makes a desperate effort to protect the eggs. It is also ready to fight fierce battles with large fish. They also diligently put them in and take them out to oxygenate the eggs. Spiny males usually guard their eggs without eating for 15 days. And when the eggs hatch, they die fiercely next to the nest. The fry, who do not know English, carelessly eat the flesh of their father and grow up. Spiny fish sacrifice their lives for the fry, and finally, even their body. Due to their fatherly love, the hatching rate of spiny fish exceeds 90%.
Jesus' love is like that of thorns. Jesus shed His flesh and blood on the cross to give the precious gift of 'salvation' and 'eternal life' to the immature and young mankind.
