Title: Saints Who Come to God's Righteousness

Bible: 1 Corinthians 6:1-9

Starting Point of the Word>>

This time, we would like to share the sermon with the title of “Saints who attain the righteousness of God” through the words of the text.

Many people today see themselves as righteous.

Just like the rich man in Luke 18:18-30, this illusion of being alone in every position in life is a human being, rather than caring for others or judging what is right or wrong, rather than his own feelings, feelings, and thoughts. I am making you treat me with .

In a word, we can say that we live in a world where it is difficult to find ‘righteousness’. However, as saints, through today's Word, we want to realize how to live according to God's standards, not the world's standards.

When we live our lives as believers, we must realize that 'righteousness' begins with God's giving thoroughly.

According to Romans 1:17,

"In the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, from faith to faith, as it is written, The righteous will live by faith."

is saying

“The righteous” here means “saints who live according to the will of God.”

As in these words, ‘righteousness’ does not come from our actions in life.

What do I live with? What kind of life do you live? is not that important, but are you standing right in your faith in God? is the standard of righteousness.

If we look at the words of verse 9,

“Do you not know that the one unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?”

Says.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.”

Therefore, please believe that we must long for and yearn for God's 'righteousness' and become believers who realize God's righteousness and strive to live according to it.

So, in the name of the Lord, I ask that you become believers who believe that the righteousness of God will be the power that will appear and work through our lives.

Go to Word>>

So, what is ‘righteousness’ in the Bible?

First, in order to know the righteousness of the Bible, we must first understand “the principle of God’s rule.

We must realize that the righteousness spoken of in the Bible is God's righteousness and is the principle of God's rule.

Because God is righteous, He can never be unrighteous.

Human beings who fall into sin apart from God do not meet the standards of a righteous God.

Therefore, they deserve to be thoroughly judged according to God's standards.

However, God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to this earth to receive the judgment of injustice in our place.

And whoever comes out who believes in the name of Jesus Christ is justified and has eternal life.

Therefore, “a heart that hungers and thirsts for righteousness” in the Sermon on the Mount means the earnest desire to realize one’s unrighteousness before God and to attain God’s righteousness.

We yearn for God's salvation with the earnestness that we cannot live even a single moment without God's grace.

The ultimate and essential thirst and hunger in our lives is for God's salvation.

This is because without God's salvation, nothing can fill our lives.

I hope this morning will be a time to restore the joy of God's salvation by coming to God with a longing for His salvation.

Second, it is to restore a right relationship with God.

Another meaning of righteousness is upright.

Righteous is the concept of a relationship that expresses the relationship between God and man.

Therefore, the righteousness that God speaks of means living in a right relationship with God.

If he does not have a right relationship with God, he will never be happy as a child of God.

Therefore, above all else, I believe that we should strive to correct our relationship with God.

What do people mean by righteousness?

They say ‘righteousness’ to follow their own eyes when there is something that is beneficial to them and there is something left.

These days, the prosecution is digging into the corruption of President Roh Moo-hyun.

However, people's righteousness tries to run away with excuses before they confess their wrongdoings.

In a way, the desires of the flesh that we have now have wrong righteousness, and this may have led us as saints to live with the desires of the world.

The Apostle Paul realized that the lusts of the flesh he possessed were fatal to harming his relationship with God.

So, looking at the words of Philippians 3:7-8,

“Nevertheless, whatever things I had gained, I counted them all as loss for the sake of Christ.

And I regard all things as loss because the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord is the noblest; for for his sake I lose all things, and consider them excrement to gain Christ.”

confesses.

Paul knew that what he thought was useful in the flesh was an obstacle to breaking the relationship with God.

When I gave up my righteousness and stood before the word of God, I was able to experience the restoration of all relationships with God anew.

I hope that when our relationship with God is restored like this, we and the members of the congregation will realize that grace will come abundantly from heaven.

Third, and lastly, we mean a life that fulfills God's will.

The righteousness of God is the will of God.

The fulfillment of God's will is the fulfillment of God's righteousness.

The fulfillment of God's righteousness means the heart longing for God's will to be done on this earth.

Those who have received the grace of salvation from God have a mission to establish a right relationship with God and fulfill God's will on this earth.

The reason God left the saved saints on this earth is to establish the kingdom of God in an unrighteous and rebellious world.

True faith is doing God's will through your life.

It is submitting oneself to the will of God.

Obedience is not a matter of choice.

Please remember that it is a very dangerous idea for us to believe in God and to have some optional faith.

Obedience is not a matter of choice, it means total surrender.

How can you leave it entirely to God?

By our knowledge, by our experience, not by the way of the world.

In order to surrender ourselves to God's will, we must thoroughly change our lives according to God's will.

When we align our lives with God's will in this way, we can establish a right relationship with God, and we can become the righteous people God is looking for.

At the end of the speech>>

Those who do not believe are living in search of the fruits of the decaying world.

However, I ask that you, who are saints, lead a life that entrusts your life to eternal things.

Please do not place your value on what is perishable in the world, but on the sacred truth.

May you have a thirst for the righteousness of God.

Only then can you enjoy the blessings of God's comfort and grace.

I hope that you will become a saint who does his best to become someone who meets God's standards.

Also, in order to establish a right relationship with God, I want you to hold on to the Word and live.

I hope that you will become believers who are dedicated to accomplishing God's will on this earth.

So I hope that your soul will be restored with the joy of salvation, and that you will be filled with the fullness of God's righteousness.

In the name of the Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become believers who are not those who look to the world and seek righteousness in the world, but that they will realize the true righteousness of God by living in the Word of God and enjoy the fullness of God's blessings.
