Title: Saints who live by good habits

Contents

Good habits overcome bad habits. Romans 7:15-25

Habits are actions that occur naturally without thinking.

Unconscious behaviors and habits.

According to some data, more than 90% of our actions are habits.

So, you can see how important and influential it is to be a habit.

Good habits have a good effect on us, but bad habits keep us from coming to God.

Moron habit is not a big deal. it is small It is trivial.

But it's the little things that hinder the big things for me.

Always being late, being irritable, being rude no matter what

- These are the things that keep me from becoming a great person. It's this habit that makes me normal.

If you want to change your life and be special, you have to change your habits.

Your habits will change your future.

ex) A person who is always late - bad habit

It's always late, so this person always seems to have a peaceful and relaxed life. -no.

This person is always in a hurry because of this habit, which causes stress. And why can't I afford my life? Why am I always busy? I always wonder why I am stressed.

What's wrong? - habit. which ? wrong habit.

You have to practice. practice on time. If you're not even one minute late, that person's life will be more leisurely and, of course, you won't be stressed out because you've got plenty of time to do it. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

How we train ourselves changes our lives.

- Someone I know, we meet once a week. He always says he has no money. Why? card price.

If you listen to the story, the cost of child's milk, living expenses, ... - At first, ah, it costs a lot of money.

However, the card is worth about 100,000 won per month. Sometimes a month or two, I understand. Every month... -habit.

Even when I don't have to spend a lot of money, I've always spent this much... With that thought, I use my card again.

So, the card is worth about 100,000 won per month.

If the income increases in the future, will the card price decrease? It will not be.

Maybe even more.

So what should I do? should be reduced When I need to write a card, is this what I need now? You have to ask. So, unless you really need it, you should be able to control it.

Our lives become our habits.

So there seems to be something. 'Cause everybody's right, I'm not

Why? - The self-esteem that I try not to lose when I think about it now. - Awareness of harm.

I'm going dry Even if I listen to the sermon, I cannot receive grace. People always get together with like-minded people. So, what kind of people are around? one who criticizes.

But how do you look now? I have turned into a positive person. Now, no matter who I meet, what people say is ‘It’s really positive.’

If you think positively about anything and look at it, things will work out on their own. No matter how serious a problem is, I don't get serious. When I look at anything I do positively, I come to realize that it is faith. Faith becomes the substance of things hoped for.

By faith, there is nothing to give up.

Everything in the world is good.

There are no bad people. Even at the church where I was before, I see students and young people, and I have friends that people don't like very much. So as soon as I left, I was like this and that…

But in my view, those friends have more potential.

Now, that student. The young man is trained in a missionary organization, and you don't know how faithfully he is zealous. What about other young people? I'm just staying at the level that they said good before.

Whatever habits you have, those habits make you who you are.

Habits shape our character.

If you look at it critically, you must be a critical person.

A person who has a habit of being late will eventually become a late person no matter what he does.

If I get angry easily and get easily excited when things don't go my way, then that person's life will be easy to get excited.

A person who has a habit of complaining will become a complainer no matter what he does.

If I want to change, the first thing to do is to know what habits I have.

I need to know what is holding me back.

I need to find a bad habit I have and try to fix it.

So how do you break that bad habit?

What is Paul confessing in verse 15 of today's text?

[I do not know what I am doing, that is, I do not do what I want, but I am doing what I hate.]

- Who does it after all?

Verse 17 [It is no longer I who do these things, but sin that dwells in me.]

What is it? Doing things without realizing it - bad habits. - You make me do things I don't want to. - But what is it after all? sin.

I have a wound. So I always think that I have to defend myself without realizing it. As a result, you are always slandering others. It became a habit without me knowing.

That's why I habitually slander even people who are really nice to me.

In the end, you lose that person too. And after that, I regret it. As a result, the wound gets deeper. But what does the Bible say about it? sin.

Verse 19 [I do not do what is good, but rather do evil]

It's not my heart, it's just that evil comes out without me realizing it.

That's not what my mind is, but it's the action that automatically acts in the opposite direction.

It's not what I want, do it, what's that in verse 20?

[If I do what I do not want to do, I am not the one who does it, but sin that dwells in me.]

In simple terms, something you do without realizing it - a habit, what is this habit after all? sin.

So how can we overcome sin?

- Let's fight sin and win. Verse 23: “Another law in my members is at war with the law of my heart.”

I do not have sin alone in me, verse 21, [that is, evil is present with me, who desires to do good, but in my inner man I delight in the law of God.]

I have sin in me, but there is goodness, so I have to fight.

In other words, what do you mean?

What beats bad habits? good habit.

If I have a bad habit like this, I want to fix it.

What are good habits? If you do the opposite of a bad habit you have, it becomes a good habit.

* Experts say that if you keep doing something good for 3 weeks or 21 days, it becomes a good habit.

It's hard, but it's the exact opposite of what I did wrong for three weeks.

A person who is late every day is 5 minutes early for 3 weeks.

People who complain all the time, on the other hand, are training to say thank you.

People who get angry easily do the opposite, laugh. you're saying it's okay

People who get excited easily do the exact opposite, training to understand 'it can be'.

It doesn't work. It is difficult. But it's only 3 weeks of patience and effort. will fight. Changing me so that bad habits no longer dominate me.

You have to cut them so that the same problems don't catch you.

-Intemperate, impatient, unforgiving, not broad-minded, passive - fighting these bad habits.

It is very difficult and hurts pride for someone who has always had to defend me at any cost to someone who always talks badly about me. - But that's what we're fighting for.

It is very difficult and difficult for a person who has always never forgiven and cared for and forgives my enemies and does not care about them. But that's what we're fighting for.

Developing good habits - comes with sacrifice, pain, and suffering. It's very difficult and difficult, but the next one will be much better.

#Living with bad habits - the moment may be easy. But the next one will be difficult.

*Living with anger, that moment of anger may be refreshing to say the least, but then it will be painful.

*Not forgiving, that moment may think I won, but in the end I lost.

It's hard, it's hard, but it's tempting. Forgive me even if I am forced to. I'm just trying to be kind for three weeks. It will be difficult and uncomfortable for a while, but then it will be very peaceful.

Verse 19: “I do not do the good I would like to do, but the evil I do not want to do I do.”

do what i want The words that were only in my heart, even if it is difficult, I have to say them now.

‘I’m sorry’ ‘I love you’ ‘Forgive me’ ‘Thank you.’

What I want, what's in me - not being able to do it is that it hasn't changed yet. I saw the Word and prayed, but in fact, nothing has changed yet.

You have to make an effort. You have to train.

Why are we easily upset and excited?

because I practiced. I practiced without knowing it.

getting angry. to get excited. -You get angry easily because you practiced.

Negative people were not negative from the start. I practiced.

You practiced it without realizing it. So naturally it becomes negative.

The same is true. Now you have to practice good things.

so that good things can become natural,

You should try to make it easier to forgive, to smile in any situation, to forgive someone who offends you or hurts you.

Practice being kind. You have to practice patience, you have to practice temperance.

What bad habits are holding you back today?

So Paul confesses.

[Oh, I am a wretched one. Who will deliver me from this body of death? ]

What is Paul's remedy for this bad habit?

[I will give thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ]

Training to pray and give thanks in the name of Jesus Christ.

A good habit of being thankful set Paul free.

What gift did God give Paul to thank?

Romans 8. Romans 8 is the [Spirit] chapter.

I believe that the Holy Spirit will be given as a gift to all of you who fight to develop good habits today.
