Title: Saints who make a wish and do it
Bible: Philippians 2:12-14
Starting Point of the Word>>
This time, we would like to share a message with the title of “Saints who make a wish and do it”
It is said that many believers today prefer large churches.
Reasons for this include a beautiful choir, a good church school, good facilities, and a place where you can easily live your life of faith.
But what is the problem?
It's about what I'm going to do there.
In other words, he goes looking for such a church to do nothing there.
I am thinking about what it would be like for all of you here today to become believers who have a sense of mission as the subject of God's work, not as a member of a church like that.
As we live our life of faith, we must cherish our wishes and become saints who go out by fulfilling those wishes.
This is not to say that you should not find something good somewhere, but you should have that good thing as a wish in your heart and become a saint who can handle it.
God is still looking for us who have become such saints, and He wants us to have such desires in our hearts and do them.
As saints, we are not just born on this earth.
Parents gave birth to children, but God had already sent them before that.
And when God sent us to this earth, he didn't just send us, he sent us with a certain purpose and expectation.
Therefore, if you are truly saved and love God, you should always make God's wishes as your desires and live diligently.
If we look at the verse 12 of the text given to us today,
If you look at this verse, you will find the words, “Work out your salvation with fear and trembling!”
As a saved person, you should not stay in your present position, but grow into a more blessed position, that is, a worker who believes in Jesus and has a desire to fulfill God's purpose.
The salvation we received through Jesus Christ is the 'beginning of the blessing', not the 'completeness of the blessing'.
I hope that it will be a time to look back on our attitude as saints to fulfill our wishes through the words of today's text.

If so, what kind of attitude of faith should we have in order to become saints who fulfill God's purpose?
First, as saints, we must become saints who have the desires of our hearts.
If we look at verse 13 of the text,
“It is God who works in you, to will and to do for his good pleasure.”
I did.
I hope you will remember that God is the one who adds wishes first to give infinite blessings to the believers of faith.
We must become saints who forget the things of the past.
Whether it is a mistake, failure, pain, hardship, or my crucial flaw, I must forget it well.
Furthermore, I must also forget about my achievements.
He who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is never fit for the kingdom of God.
Now, instead of getting too caught up in the past, we must move forward with God's vision. A vision is a more precious asset than any other asset, and a greater force than any other.
Example>>
"Teacher! How could you liberate India from the British Empire without military force?”
Then Gandhi says:
“I had a clear wish for the liberation of my country. That wish is a power stronger than military power.”
A wish is to do something greater than political power, to have more influence than economic power, and to have more power than military power.
Now, I hope you will become those of you who have a clear wish and decide to believe in Jesus and become a person.
Second, as saints, we must become saints who act for the wishes of our hearts.
In verse 13 of the text, “God makes you do what you want” means that faith in action is important.
Wishes don't just come true.
You act for your wishes, and you have to pay the price.
Example>>
The brother ran a bicycle shop together, and in his spare time he would sometimes climb a hill to rest.
One day, while the two brothers were resting on the grass on the hill, an eagle flew up.
Seeing that scene, I had a strong wish, “We want to fly too.”
And in order to make that wish come true, I gave up my marriage and devoted myself to developing an airplane, and eventually made an airplane.
They are the Wright brothers.
After their successful flight test, a celebration party was held.
Then the host introduced the Wright brothers and asked, “Tell me something!”
Then Brother Wright got up and said, blushing.
"Everyone! Parrots, the most talkative of all birds, are not very good at flying, but the best birds are usually silent. I also have a knack for flying, but no speaking skill. So let me finish my words.”
Being able to speak well is a great blessing from God.
But instead of being a talkative parrot, you have to show faith in action.
There are no cheap shortcuts to making a wish come true.
Your wish will come true when you are always willing to pay the price.
Third, as saints, we must not have any grudges or disputes in order to fulfill the wishes of our hearts.
If we look at verse 14,
“Do everything without grumbling or arguing.”
First of all, the saying, “There should be no resentment in everything” means to be thankful in everything in reverse.
Even when things get difficult, you should be thankful.
God allows us to go through a difficult process at times so that we can enjoy greater emotion and joy through achievement later.
Therefore, even if the vision doesn't come true right away, don't complain, but look to the Lord more and become the saints who wait for God's time.
God wants us to see how beautiful we are when we wait.
Great things usually don't happen quickly.
The fulfillment of a great wish is usually given through a process of many trials.
Therefore, if you try to achieve something at once and win with a single sword, you cannot do anything.
According to Isaiah 40:31,
“But those who wait for the Lord will find new strength, and they will soar up on the wings of an eagle.”
In this verse, “waiting on the Lord” means “Wait on the Lord” in English.
This waiting does not mean waiting with a sad look like Mangbu-seok, but with hopeful and joyful waiting.
Also, verse 14 of the text says that there should be no complaints while working, but there should also be no disputes.
Some people do whatever it takes to make their wishes come true, but don't act like that.
It is important to make your wish come true, but the process of making your wish is also important.
Therefore, when you go out toward your wish, you should try to avoid conflicts as much as possible.
Achieving your goals is useless when your relationships are broken and your soul is broken.
Therefore, it is important to fulfill the desires of God's heart with meekness to the end.
Fourth, in order for us as saints to fulfill the desires of our hearts, we must prioritize the glory of God.
When you have a wish, you must first clarify, “Is the vision really in line with God’s will and a wish that glorifies God?”
If there is no such purpose, no matter what vision you achieve, you will never be a blessed being.
The ultimate purpose of wishing should be to fulfill the Lord's will and expand the kingdom of God on this earth.
According to Matthew 6:33,
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Then I will add all these things to you.”
you promised.
If we go forward with a wish for our body, our soul will be ruined, but if we put the Lord's wishes ahead of our own, there is no harm in our lives.
When we become beings after God's own heart, God will give us more abundantly than we think and desire.
Please remember that God's wishes are greater than ours.
Therefore, if we always live our vision according to the will and glory of God, there is no waste in that life.
Therefore, we must realize how blessed it is for the saints to be in God and in God's vision.
True blessings are in the Lord-centered life.
If you struggle to show that you are not dead, you will stink, but if you constantly erase yourself, you will smell.
At the end of the speech>>
God wants our blessings more than we do.
The important thing is not to lose focus on God's will and glory.
I wish you all the best to make that focus clear and make your wishes come true.
God has given everyone his or her own talents.
Anyone who develops it can greatly glorify God and can help many people with it.
In order to fulfill this desire of God, and to fulfill the desire of our hearts, we must first become saints who have wishes.
When our wishes and God's wishes become one, great works will be revealed.
Also, if you have a wish, you must become a saint who wants to make your wish come true with the best action for this purpose.
We see that the writer of James rebukes faith without action.
I hope that we will become believers who realize that our wishes cannot come true without action.
And he says that in order to make a wish come true, there should be no resentment and dispute, and we must do it for the glory of God.
We must not become foolish saints who hide the glory of God while doing God's work and living as God's people.
Today, God tells us to have a wish, and He tells us to make this wish come true.
I bless you in the name of the Lord that all of our lives will be the lives of the saints who wish and act for the glory of God.
